Good evening Mooch. I have been buying batteries for my Aspir beginers unit. The batteries are usually Kanger Tech 1000aH. I took apart an older power supply and found a QXB13700 1100MaH (about 6.5cm long) battery inside. I do like these smaller batteries but the bigger Kanger Techs (about 9cm) seem to last longer. Both are about 1/2" dia. What replacement batteries would you recommend. And, can I buy them through your site. I would have no problems with small soldering jobs.
Sorry if i'm asking stupid questions. I have been reading your posts but they seem to cater to the more advanced rigs. I'm a newbie at this. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Steve

I'm no @Mooch, but I'm betting those are at least moderately used 18650 cells of unknown (to you) amperage. Unless you know exactly what you're doing, you don't want to wire them up and give them a try. A regulated mod like those in beginners' kits have safety features in their chipsets that keep the device from demanding more current than the battery can provide. But if your tinkering with the insides of that device ends up defeating those safeguards, you might be in for some unintended consequences.

    Hello,
I don't sell any batteries so I wouldn't be able to help you there.
I don't know how much current that device draws, what batteries are available in that size, and what their true ratings are.

Sorry, batting a zero with your questions.
