Banning flavors????? That would truly suck! Bennystrat, I would recommend you specialize in DIY.
Also wonder if 0mg liquids are still going to be regulated and also looks like its time to start getting into diy liquids now

Their plan is warning labels and banning sales to minors. If that's all they do I can live with that.
Time to stock up. I can't have my precious bottles tainted with warning labels...
Oooh, the 'save the children targeted by flavorings' crap propaganda again. What a garbage government we have. What multitudes of idiotic Americans that suck up the propaganda and then recite it as truth.

It will probably take about a year for these regs to become law provided that no one sues. If the thing ends up in court (and it probably will) things could take a lot longer.
The good part is that at least we will have a sense of direction, and know what we need to worry about and/or fight.
The bad part is that the document is so large it will probably take a month just to read it, and a law degree to understand it.
As I'm understanding the prerelease fragments I've see, the regs are aimed more at the manufacturer, and very little will change for the 'legal age' consumer. Except anytime there are hoops to jump through, there are costs involved.

"Companies also will be required to submit applications for premarket review within two years. As long as an e-cigarette maker has submitted the application, the FDA said it will allow the products to stay on the market while they are being reviewed. That would mean companies would have to submit an application for all e-cigarettes now being sold."

well i guess since minors are now banned from ecigs flavors like strawberry and thin mints should not be a problem 
i dont see any way that they could regulate beyond cigalikes. seems highly unconstitutional.
According to CNN they will also be banning free samples, that means every brick and mortar that lets you try before you buy will be breaking the law.

I haven't read everything, but i would imagine you could charge a very nominal fee for access to the juice bar. I was thinking .01
Absolutely not. The propaganda machine never sleeps.
I also encourage anyone who thinks the initial regulations are okay to reconsider.
The current devices, liquids, etc. will all have to apply for FDA approval within two years. There is absolutely no guarantee that they will approve any of them. Since they are hammering the "flavors marketing to children" angle...they could simply enforce a de facto ban by not approving any flavored or colored liquids. Don't sit on your hands during the review period.
Raise some hell, people, or we are stuck with them as written.
