ProSmoke: unsatisfied

Hi folks,

This is a warning to all who are considering buying a ProSmoke kit from ProSmokeStore.com to [edited]. They offer [edited]. I was also dissatisfied with Blu previously, but at least they gave me a FULL refund, without ANY deductions for anything, not even for the used cartridges, and no questions asked.

ProSmoke, on the other hand, went back and forth with me, and then gave me only $68 of my over $100 spent after I threatened to dispute the credit card charge on grounds of misrepresentation. Unlike Blu, I was never able to speak with anyone on the phone at ProSmoke, and had to deal with them entirely online using their "ticket" system. They deducted a 20% restocking fee AND charged me for the few cartridges I used.

I feel they are an [edited]. If you are considering them, DO NOT send them a dime. Get a quality Joye eGo or other reputable product instead. If you want to know what is a quality product, spend some time on this forum and read reviews by those who have tried the product.

Dispute it. They will have to prove that you got exactly what you ordered from them, to your satisfaction to the credit card company. They will not even bother. They know they will lose.

I used to work for a bank, and NO company ever disputed a chargeback, they knew they would not get the required proof. I have done chargebacks against used car dealer for the price of a used car. (not my car, but for a customer) and the dealer STILL did not dispute it.

Companies do not think you have the cajones to do it. PROVE THEM WRONG>

Yep, it is just no worth it for the companies. But you will have to prove that they recieved the Item back. So send it with some kind of confirmation.

Please let me introduce myself; I am Julie, an employee at ProSmoke. One of our customers from the forum shot this thread over to me and I just couldn't let it go without posting the ENTIRE situation. I am all for reviews, both positive and negative on the site, but since this was so inflammatory and grossly misrepresented the situation, I wanted to post a simple response and then let it go. We stand behind our product and especially our customer service, so a post like this really irks me.

Radicaljd purchased a starter kit from us and was not satisfied. He decided to get a refund and when we received the product back, it was in scratched condition with numerous cartridges missing. Therefore he was charged a 20% restocking fee which is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions. He obviously was also not refunded shipping.

We do absolutely everything we can to keep our customers satisfied with our great product. I encourage anyone to do their research and see our other customer reviews of both our product AND our customer service. This thread grossly misrepresents what happened and I thank you for reading this post. :D
