Hey folks. The brick and mortar shop near me ran out of dual coils for the mini protank 3 and sold me protank 2 coils instead. These are single dual, MP3 coils are typically dual. These are also .2 ohms higher than the stock MP3 coils. Is there any reason to believe these can't be used? It seems to vape ok...

the dual coil is a bit longer than the single coil, there might be a leaking problem since the shorter coil wont seal well against the internal airtube in the tank....
I think you'll be fine. I always use single coils with pro tanks and have never had a problem.
the dual coil is longer than the single coil and if you put a single coil unit into a dual coil tank, the top donut gasket ( above the wicks) wont seal against the inner air tube in the tank.... there may be a way to use the single coil base on the dual coil tank maybe... possibly... dont know havent tried it but I do know that a dual coil wont fit the single coil tank for sure....
I've been using my old rebuilt single coils in my mini PT3s without a single problem.
