I've got a v3 Seigeli Zmax Telescopic. I have 3 protank 2's. One of which won't work it. It seems to have no air flow. I can hear the atomizer firing, but there's no air coming through the protank. It will work on my cool fire 1. It fired on the zmax fine a few days ago. Any suggestions. I've tried taking the head out and cleaning the air holes.

The coil is constipated? You have a blockage somewhere if you can hear it firing but no air flow. Take the coil apart and see if you can find what the problem is. That's odd that it will fire on one device but not the other??

Did you try a different coil? Is the connection on the Zmax flooded with juice?

Bumping to see if anyone else has any ideas...

Usually ProTanks won't fire on a mod, because the pin isn't making contact. Try pulling the pin on the head out a little, or pulling out the center pin on the mod.

If that doesn't work, check the air holes at the base of the threads, is it different than the others? From what I've read, ProTanks can vary in that respect. Also, check the airway in the center pin, see if it's clogged, that's a place I didn't even think to clean until I'd been rebuilding a while, and the air hole in the base, they clog too.

Can you draw on it, off the mod, with the hole in the pin covered? If so, then it's probably the air hole placement, or the pin. If not, then you have a clog.

Try screwing it in little by little. Give it a turn, check resistance, give it a turn, check resistance…etc until you just make contact. I had this happen to me before. If the center pin on the mod is a little high it will squish the grommet too much and stop airflow. Try a new head with my recommendation and let us know.

Purchase and use an Air flow controller to raise the Tanks.

Or order an Original Protank Base - larger air holes.

Or drill the holes slightly larger.

On my Provari the tank comes down too far and doesn't allow air to enter the device. My Protank kit came with two small silicone grommets. I put one on the Protank's 510 connector which raised the device just enough to get airflow and it works fine. May not help you but figured I would throw it out there anyway!
