Protank 3 Atomizer Rebuild Questions.

Yello ECF members,

Quick "... am I doing wrong" question...

Everytime I rebuild a coil, I use aprox. 5-9 wraps. I'm using 2 mm Ekowool and 32G Kanthal. The latest rebuild I attempted (I've built at LEAST 10 all wigging out) was ~ 3.5 ohms. As soon as i tested it I was super stoked, then tested again to just double check, went down to 3.3. Ignited it and the whole coil and seemed like even the wick was glowing. I checked the ohms again and it was all the way down to .8. Just curious on what I'm doing wrong... I've built ~ 10, checked out close to all of the rebuild videos on youtube and haven't been able to fix the problem. I've spaced properly, make sure the negative and positive ends are in correct location... I just have NO idea how to rebuild this I guess... Pretty damn frustrating. Any help would be highly appreciated

Peace

Only thing I can think of is you might be getting the coils touching somewhere. Even 4 ohms should give you 2 ohms total with both coils. Your using the plastic piece on the top coil to insulate from the bottom coil or vise versa?

Hopefully some else has an idea too.

Btw welcome to the forums and congrats on trying a build like the bdc coils.
