I believe I posted this in the wrong forum earlier. If a mod needs to delete the previous post, please do.

I have a ProTank 3 sitting at home collecting dust, and an Aero bottom for it as well. I will never use it again and my friends all have one, or don't like them. I am wondering if I can modify the head to make an rda out of it. Has this been done and I have missed it, or is it even possible? I would obviously remove the chimney and the tube going up, but what else would need to be done?

Honestly, even if you manage to get it to work, i don't think you'll be terrible impressed with the performance due to the overall design of the coils, also the drip capacity may be quite small before it wants to flood/leak (just imo), but i'm sure it could be done.

I personally think you'd be better off tossing the PT3 in the drawer until you find someone to pay it forward (or sell) to, save yourself the time of modifying it, and just spend $10-20 on a decent clone dripper plus wire/wick if you're looking to drip.

Best of luck!

Currently using a Tobh Atty, a Stillare, an Enigma, an Igo-L, and a 3-D. (all clones) I was just wondering if I could modify it somehow to a dripper. And you are correct, I am not terribly impressed with the coils, which is one reason why I don't use it. Also, yes, the capacity would be minimal to begin to leak or flood, hence why I want to know if it can be *modified. Thinking outside the box here. Just something to tinker with and see if it is do-able. :D
