So recently I've been bringing my mod topped with a Protank 3 to work and leaving it in my truck while i'm in the building because I move around a lot and don't want to lose it. Unfortunately, I live where it gets up to 95 degrees in a regular day. That means my truck gets a heck of a lot hotter inside. Now whenever I get off work and start heading home I pull out my vape from the center console and take a drag just to get a mouthfull of ejuice. Now I know its bad in general to leave ejuice in a hot climate before anybody says that. And i'm also sure its not entirely well for the battery. But i've got my upgrade coming tommorow. But I digress...

Can the heat cause the leaking? Is it because the PV is laying on its side for hours on end?

I have heard that the heat can change the vacuum pressure in the tank, as well as the viscosity of the e-liquid, both of which can make it leak a lot easier. I've also heard that if you put the tank upside down it may prevent it from leaking, but I wouldn't take my word for it.

I'm sure you will get more knowledgeable responses eventually.

Eh, mine does that on occasion if I leave it in too much heat. Basically the heat softens the silicone seals and the pressure combined from the heat and the soft seals will toss fluid into the tube. Now I just take it in with me and toss it in my pencil cup on my desk (plus I can go out back and use it when I want).
