I just got in the Aerotank base unit made to fit the Protank 1, 2 and 3. It works really well and looks cool too. Just swap out the current Protank base for this unit and you have fully adjustable air flow. It solved the issue of tightness on my Provari totally. Here's the link:

I picked up a few myself -- work great.

In addition to working with the Protank I and II, I've found they work with other tanks as well. So far I've used them with the Dbox Puritank, Kanger T3, Kanger T3s, Evod and the Smok Aerotank (pyrex). No leaks with any of them, and while it looks a little odd with the smaller tanks since the outer diameter is larger than the tank, the airflow control works well.

i'm on a "No buy vape stuff" for whole month of Jan. Come on Feb, hurry up and get here. I need this airflow control valve !

I've had to enact some no vape spending periods myself in the past, so I certainly understand. But, for $6.87 shipped for one from MVS using coupon code TS14ZG for 10% off, it's well worth it!

Does this tighten the draw on the PT2 better than a airflow tank controller?TIA

I tried this airflow controller in the past: Tank Airflow Controller.

In comparison, the Kanger airflow controller works better (more gradual change from tight draw to loose draw) and is easier to use. It's not perfect -- I would have liked the knurled control ring to be a bit larger and have indents that hold it in place -- but it's working far better for me than the one I linked to above.

Not only did the aero base solve the squashed grommet airflow problem on a PT2, I've been able to vape the tank down to the last drop with it installed. Before, it would gurgle below 1/3 full. I don't understand why it should make such a difference, but it did.

I've always been able to get the last little bit of juice vaped with no gurgles or anything. I never took mine outside or had it less then almost completely vertical. I really enjoy that I can screw all the way down now on my mods without worry about damaging the center pins and having to "pop" them back up. Can't be good for them long term.
