Hello. Been vaping about a month now and smoke free after 21 years. Found I prefer high vg juices. I live in Tx. Just bought an evod. Removed both flavor wicks and it works awesome in the a.c. I'm an auto tech so I work outdoors. In the Texas heat my evod floods like crazy with both wicks removed.I use mini novas at work and evod at home. Hope this helps. (80vg, 20pg mix)

Almost all tanks tend to flood when changing to another extreme environment. I think this has to do more with air pressure than temperature, but I could be wrong. I use carto tanks which almost never flood when inside the house. When I go outside especially from AC cool to outside heat, the carto will flood "if I continue vaping immediately". If I let the device acclimate maybe 4-5 minutes, it does not flood anywhere near as much. I think the tank adjusts to the air pressure and temperature change if you let it alone. If you continue to vape when going from a cool environment to outside heat and different air pressure, it forces more juice into the carto or coil.

I had to chime in when i read this thread, This week in Iowa it has been very hot, mid 100's upper 100 heat indexes. I have been having issues though for a few weeks, I have purchased way to many tanks and finally got an RSST. I love the RSST. However I am still having issues until today I finally concluded that the heat is what is killing my vaping experience. My Protank 2 initially worked perfect. got it on a friday night and used it all weekend and I loved it, then monday comes and it works fine until around 10:30 or 11 and sure enough vapor production seems to disappear, and it starts flooding getting little hot droplets of juice on my tongue. I thought, man this protank 2 really sucks.....So i got the Cobra clone and it was working good, tried a new wick and coil instead of the factory one but I drilled my hole out and killed my flavor, FYI dont drill your hole to 1/16th if you like flavor....

Anyway, My rsst has been acting up all week around mid day. I realized today it was the heat killed it, my EVIC would be hot to the touch and my juice looked like water in the tank, very very thin. All week I had been thinking my coil was getting hot spots or something but today i didnt touch it, I just left the coil alone after getting very frustrated with it acting up AGAIN. Ive been rechecking my coil all week every night after work and concluded the coil wasn't the issue, SO.....I failed and got some nasty cigs today. didnt touch my coil or anything and when I got off work and in my car I cranked the AC and held the evic and RSST in the AC for about 3 mins before taking a drag, IT WORKED FLAWLESSLY.

I am positive the heat kills the effectiveness of our juices, it has nothing to do with you choice of carto or atomizer setup its the heat, plain and simple. Which really sucks cause I work outdoors all day long doing concrete leveling and I guess im going to have to put my EVIC in a plastic bag in my cooler when im not using it to try and keep it coolER....
