Hey guys, I've had my Protank for just over 2 weeks now. I dropped my battery on hard cement a couple days ago with the PT screwed on, but there wasn't any noticeable damage besides a scratch on my battery (1300mah Vision Spinner clone). I used it the rest of the day with no issue and put my battery on the charger over night..

When I woke up and unscrewed my battery from the charger, I screwed on the Ego beauty-skirt and than my ProTank all the way in like I usually do. When i tried to drag, the light on my battery blinked about 5 times (as if it just died) and I got no vapor.
... At first I thought it was a problem with my battery, but than I tried it with a T2 clearo, a carto, and a 510 atty with no problems, each one screwed all the way down also, as usual.

So than I figured out I can get my ProTank vaping again if I unscrewed it about a quarter-turn from my battery. Than after some tinkering, I got it working like usual with the tank screwed all-the-way in to my batt. But after that I took it off to refill and I started having the blinking battery problem when I tried to put it back on, but once again got it working normal all the way screwed on, after messing with it some more.

Today it's gotten worse. I have to keep screwing/unscrewing my protank in to find the perfect 'spot' to get a vape; too loose and it's not connected, too tight and my battery blinks. I can tell it's getting worse and I'm having to mess with it more and more. I can't get it to vape with it all the way screwed down like I could yesterday, now it has to be about a quarter to 1/2 way unscrewed to even vape..

What's the problem? Any way I can fix this myself?? Thanks everyone

Today I've only been getting a vape from it if I have it screwed to the perfect point, about a half of a rotation unscrewed. Just took my dogs for a walk, and my e-cig was bouncing from my lanyard against my chest, and when I got back I messed with it a bit and noticed I could screw it in tighter and get it to work, than even got it to work fully screwed-in again for a few drags.

Now I can get it to vape if the protank is about half to 1/4 a rotation from being fully screwed on.. It also seems to be effecting the amount of vapor I get, slightly... Hopefully it's a problem with the coil-head, maybe being shifted slightly, am i right??

I'd try a new coil-head on the PT to see if that solves this, but I'm on my last one and waiting for DV to restock.. I guess I could try a burnt-out coil

So I just took my ProTank and screwed it onto my buddies Ego Twist, and had no problems with it screwed all the way into his battery.. So this means it's a problem with my battery?? Still having the same problem with my gear..

It doesn't make sense to me because my battery does not blink when I screw on a 510 atomizer or my T2's all the way down, does anybody have any idea??
Not good if it's my battery, my warranty just ran up like a week ago!!

Try using a different head on the protank maybe? does it still happen after you did? Could be your battery connection is just really sensitive and something about the way the protank screws in is triggering the blinking.

I dropped an ego awhile ago and first it would randomly blink and go back to working a few minutes later, soon after it just completly stopped working and everytime I pressed the button it would just blink a bunch of times and not fire
