Thanks for the great replies!
I have dabbled in building my own coils but with not that great results but
then again its my first time building them and I used it in a rebuildable atomizer which are
from my understand really meant for mechanical mods rather than VV.
And at the time I only had my VV Vamo V2.
Looking forward getting my batteries and replacement parts for my Nemesis and start cooking!

It should work fine if you use the mech like just another battery but don't go too low on ohm because protanks' coils were not designed for low ohm.

The rubber piece between your two coil legs will melt at higher wattage. People can't even dry burn their protanks coils by just holding the power button down so what they do is on/off/on/off till the coil is clean.

Don't mess up, vape on

I use one everyday at .9-1.0Ω. Cut the top lip off your grommets to prevent singeing. Aerotank base improves low resistance Protank builds drastically. You can build a protank that's almost as good as a Kayfun.
EDIT: if you DON"T have, or will buy, an Aerotank base, make sure you drill out the 3 little airholes on your regular base (the three around the 510 connection). Protank NEEDS good airflow. OR, use a Nemesis or Nemmy clone. The airflow to the 510 is perfect.

28g microcoil, 6 wraps over a 1/16" bit. Drilled holes to 1/16 as well. I use cotton ball for a wick - just enough that it slides easily back and forth through the coil. No "flavor wicks".

Even an old carto tank will work on a Nemmy.

You might want to look at the "Nemesis Mechanical Mod Contact Upgrade" at FatDaddy depending on how you set your nemmy up.

I'd still rebuild the head for a lower ohm than stock if your used to vv or vw

I would as well .. I believe that mechanicals do their best work with builds 1.5 ohm and below, so even as the volts on your battery is decreasing, your vape experience won't go to crap.
