This issue would be so much better if Halo would carry the PT2 threaded for their current Triton line. I'm begging you. Yes you will need a 808d bat/thread to 510 adapter. The PT2 uses 510 threading. Their is a large and ugly gap. IMHO, this configuration is NOT suitable for out and about. It's very top heavy and far more inclined to snap off. Please chk your PMs. :)

I've used a Protank 1 on my Trioton battery with this adapter:

That one converts the 808 threads to eGo and 510. It threads onto the top threads of the Triton battery, not the bottom ones, so the Triton's bottom threads and the adapter's eGo threads are exposed. Using the Protank's "beauty ring" covers up the adapter nicely. To make it look better when using the adapter, I'm going to cut the cone that came with my starter kit so it'll cover everything up.

An 808 to 510 adapter may look better, but I don't own one to be sure. I bought the one linked to so I can use other stuff without having different adapters.
