Protank mesh rebuild. Advice please?

Hi, after a week of no vape mail im itching to experiment with using a mesh wick. For the moment im using a standard eGo twist 4.8v max 1000mah battery and vaping 100% VG juice (banoffee pie).

This is all so baffling so if anyone could answer a few questions i would be much obliged.

1. Which is the best #mesh to use
   Because im using 100%VG it looks as if I need to use a looser grade to create more flow for the ticker liquid so #400.
2. Can i just gradually turn the voltage up until i hit the sweet spot or does it need to be tested?
   I don't have an ohm tester and cant be arsed with getting one now incase i don't take to the whole wick rebuilding thing
3. Which is the best wire for a 2.5 ohm type atty?

These guys are getting my money.

I use 32 gauge kanthal when I've rebuilt viva nova's, and on my RBA's.

So, its complete. I got a Vamo, some 0.25mm Kanthal wire, some 325# mesh and a blowtorch. Long story short, the wick and coil are a success and reads 1.3ohms on 4 wraps. Only problem is how it leaks at the last 1/4 of a tank of juice.

Could this be helped with a little silica to help seal the wick in?
