Hey folks. I'm wondering what adaptors if any I need to attach these two pieces. The sales guy said the mini protank has an ego style threading if that helps. A lot of this stuff is still over my head, the x2 claims to have two styles of threading?, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

X2 batteries have eGo threads, but most eGo threaded devices won't fit because the battery post sticks up too far. Adapters don't usually work with automatic X2s, but if you have a manual X2 battery you can use a 901/808D to eGo adapter. I don't have a mini protank, so I haven't tried it on an X2.

I was recently in the same situation. I bought an EVOD clearomizer (Ego threaded) to use with my X2 automatic and it would not fit due to the taller battery post on the X2 like WorksForMe mentioned above. I got the exact same adapter linked above as well and my EVOD won't work on my auto X2 even with the adapter. I ended up getting a Volt Spinner manual battery and all is well now but I still need to use the adapter on the Volt Spinner.

If your X2 is a manual battery then all you need is the adapter linked above. If it's an auto, you will need to get a manual battery of some sort if you want to use the mini Protank.
