Protege: Battery Lifespan Idea

a2d: My understanding is that you can do this with the Prodigy, but you have to buy a non-resistored switch or the battery won't produce enough power.

I just purchased one of the non resistored switches and the 18650 at 3.7v batteries and I'm loving the Prodigy now. The 5v was too much for me I think and I'm a dodo so I kept burning out my attys.

I also purchased 2600maH batteries.....they last me all day and then some ;). I vape about 3ml per day.

I've been trying to order the non resistor switches 3 weeks ago last Friday when I ordered my protege but none are available. Casey keeps telling me next week and to keep checking the site but nothing yet. I hope they come soon. I also like the 18650 at 3.7v but I'm currently using it with the resistor which kind of defeats the purpose but its working only thing is the batteries don't last as long as without the resistor

Or you can take the resistor out of the standard kit.

There's a shortage of switches so I did the small MOD.. Very easy with a soldering iron.

I actually prefer running the prodigy at 3.7v. Once you get the formula figured out I don't see a lot of difference in vapor production and I think the flavors are better. Easier on the att's too.
