In your bushes, watching you undress
Nicely done. Yeah, the construction of the Protege being in all stainless steel does set it apart from the rest.

Shame your room mate got it with an 801 atty though, kinda defeats the purpose of a super-small PV IMO. The atty is almost as big as the device itself. Plus.. if you think the performance is great like that, you REALLY need to try it on a 510. Whole 'nother level my friend... whole 'nother level ;)

Yeah I really don't know why he got it with a 801 connection, everything else of his is 510's. If he gets a 510 I will update.

Great review...
But like Carti3r... I wish that you had concentrated a little more on the build quality.
Thanks!:thumb:

I will snag it from him later on and I will do a video just on the Protege and I will address the build quality.:D. Are there any other things you would like me address with regards to the devices.

I can't watch the video right now, but can you be sure to address the battery life. I know they both use 14500 but isn't the VP2 built with something that shuts it off when the battery drops below a certain voltage? Also what about the switch in the the VP2 as compared to the Protege? Mechanical? Electrical?

If you already addressed those in the video, sorry.

Thanks for the input frank, I will ask him about the battery life and I will report it in the video. I'm am not sure if the vp2 has a "cutoff" I will see if I can get the answer from vaprlife. To my knowledge both buttons are electrical.

I was wrong about the cutoff, apparently that is supposed to be in the VP3.

I did notice that on the VP2, behind the button there is a set screw, any info on what the deal is with that?

The screw on the VP2 is what holds the button in place. On the first run of the VP1 models vaprlife intended on having an airflow adjustment. It turned out to be more of a problem so it go scraped.

That makes sense. I just watched the video (bandwidth at work is awful!) Nice review! And also fallout rocks.
