I agree SSG. If its only a quarter or half inch that is not a problem. Ive been obsessed with Proteus since the list for serial numbers was started. I have faith in Imeo and I know he will continue to provide amazing vaping products for us. :D

Imeo, if it is a choice between Proteus being longer than you originally hoped or Proteus not existing at all, I will take Proteus being a little long. Penelope desperately needs her better half.

I do look forward to all of your ingenious new toys.

you did well that you spoke pho. If I dont find a solution about the length of electronics then I will not make proteus. So you cant pay for something that maybe will not be made:)

Penelope is crying. She wants to let go of her GGTS daddy and join her partner Proteus. Should you decide not to make it, can you please give us something else which would match Penelope in size better than the GGTS? Thanks a million.

its the length of the electronic cirquit Valsa. I wanted to make it very small but its very difficult. And if I make it long then it will not look good
What's the problem with the electronics? If it's the VV part, I'd be fine with just regulated to 3.7v... since we make our own coils, there's your variable wattage :p

proteus can be made easily but with no electronics Ros. I just dont want to do it like that buddy.

I agree with this statement completely. Imeo I would recommend taking a vote or at least reconsidering that statement. I think you would find the vast majority willing to deal with a length or even a small width increase to get proteus.

Proteus has to be at 17mm fright to meet penelope's width. And it has to be small. I wanted to make a tube that will hold the electronic part at 25mm and now it has to go at 55mm. 3cm is a big length if you agree. It will not look good. Anyway, I will make a sample in 1 month and then we talk again:)

Imeo, I know you're a perfectionist, but quite frankly, I don't see the need for electronics and much prefer the reliability of a mechanical switch. My old trusty Aluminum GGTS has been put back together literally with paperclips and nails. The electronics in my VV's, Egos, and even my Orion has gone bad at times, but my GGTS(es) have NEVER let me down! That said, I'd be quite content with a mechanical Proteus for my Penelope.

That's like saying don't date brunettes because you like blondes. :)

It's about variety; not one or the other. The mechanical GGTS will always be available, but adding the electronics will offer a different experience. Try the GGTS w/DNA as a prelude to Imeo's next creation. You'll discover how it provides the 50th draw is equal to the 20th draw is equal to the 1st.....amazing consistancy and adjustability.

As far as time frame; Imeo's creation will be ready when it's ready. If it's a month or 6 or 8....no big deal.

I hope that eventually, we will see a 14500-based GG.
I already have 2 Penelope's and 10 14500's waiting.
At the mo, I'm using a mechanical telescopic 14500-mod which is okay, but i would much prefer a GG-product.
My wifes Penelope is lying unused, since we haven't yet found a mod she can use it with. She doesn't like bottom-buttons, and i refuse to put the Penelope on an Ego-battery!

You can use 14500s on the GGTS.

I look at it this way, If... AND THAT IS A BIG IF, the current Proteus concept does not come to fruition, and I am sure it will because IMEO is a master of creation. This is evident by the fact that just about every other country on the planet that produces PV's has decided to copy many of his design concepts. I know that his great mind will bring something else our way that will certainly be more than adequate to accomplish a perfect pairing in size and symmetry for Penelope to use as her Throne. I know first hand after seeing Penelope atop a GGTB that they are a very fine match indeed. Although the Proteus idea is definitely a seriously wonderful concept. A Match Made in Olympus itself :D

Just my two cents as I have been ogling over GG Products since I first became a member on this site when I started Vaping in March of 2011.

The ggtb does fit nice with the penny but the added feature of the air control would be a huge feature. The vv/ww would be bonus but I'm like many that love the mechanical side of gg. The user ohm setting when building the coil in away is control of the watts... I would love to still see a 14500 battery device with air control.

I understand what you are saying guys. But it would be silly for me to promise a thing and then make something else. I have to find a solution for the electronic cirquit, otherwise I dont see myself making proteus

One could also say it would be silly to not make what is possible. There could always be a v2 later, when technology is more agreeable to the originally intended design.

For me, the biggest aspect is the regulated voltage, squeeze every last drop out of that battery with the same hit every time. When you decided to add in VV I felt it was a nice addition, but not a requirement in my mind. Even air control is a nice, but not required, feature for me (not using it atm, using stealth cap on GGTS to use penelope).

If cutting a couple nice features, to get a good end product, is needed then I'm all for it. So, if cutting VV (and maybe some other feature or two) will allow you to make v1 at or near the intended design then I'm happy to pay for it. Wait for technology to improve a bit and release a v2 down the road with all of the originally intended features (and maybe a replacement kit for v1 to v2 upgrade, if possible).
