Ok so here is my prototype cart refilling tin. Really makes it easier to refill these little buggers and have both hands free. Also serves pretty good to contain any spills, and gives me somewhere to keep my used carts till i get around to refilling them. Good use for an old tobacco tin. :D

I do have plans in my head for a wooden box with storage for juice bottles, tweezers etc. I also want to find a better material for standing the carts in. For now though this works pretty good.

This is something my better half made when she was trying several things. As you can see on the purple one its crafting foam stacked up and then holes drilled through it. It works great to hold my stuff and keep it organized on my desk.

Ukusa that is a really good idea. I didnt think about the carts themselves.

Thanks TX - main reason i came up with this idea is because I don't really have anywhere, away from everyone else in the house to refill carts. So to avoid messes (nicotine drops) and incurring the wrath of the wife i made it portable and self containing.
I'm not exactly good with a syringe yet either. With this i don't have to hold the carts and try to operate a syringe at the same time 8-o.

I do have a feeling this prototype will evolve into a more complex and costly project. Most of my ideas tend to go that way :D.

Freesmoke sent me one of these cartridge holders when I bought some juice from them. It's just a block of foam with holes that go all the way through. I think it's handy:

You know what Kate, i think we have some foam just like that hanging around here at work taking up space.

I'm off to see if i can find where that foam ended up being stored.

At last! I just KNEW there was a reason to keep bits of old oasis even though flower-arranging is most decidedly NOT one of my talents - and now I know what it is!

All I have to do is FIND it... If I fail (to locate it) think I'll have to see if I can source some of the 'crafting foam' Tx's wife used - that looks really neat.

By amazing synchrony I tried making a cart-refilling thingy myself with a lump of polystyrene almost identical to UkUsa's yesterday. Wasn't overawed by my success though.
