The gentleman who has order #539 has me a bit concerned, if my order (653) was placed on April 18th I can only assume that 539 was placed early to mid march, if his lead time was near the same as mine he should be enjoying his xpv. I can't believe that protovapor is that far behind and have not notified its customers, unless there was a flood of orders within a couple weeks in April and we are all basically on the same time table. If my lead time expires ( with another 48 hours tacked on) I will be contacting protovapor with my concerns. It would help if some other people chime in with their # and situation

I've been watching this thread as I wait impatiently for my order (#664) to be processed. Since you guys were talking about lead times, I decided to take a look at the protovapor website to see if there were any updates and here's what they posted today.

http://www.protovapor.com/status-515-were-back-but/

Ohio, we have a problem. You may be aware that Evolv has been having some problems keeping up with demand for the DNA30D. Our boards we ordered in early April were supposed to be here by last week at latest (3-5 weeks lead time) but should instead be arriving by the end of this week. We are completely out of DNA30D boards, so as of right now we cannot build and ship any orders. We anticipate we will lose 3-4 planned build days due to this delay, so unfortunately we must now announce a 3-4 day delay in the listed lead times. So if your mod has not shipped yet, add 3-4 days to the lead time window. We will be looking for ways to make up this delay time over the next few weeks.

Non-dna board repairs will be processed as usual.

Ordering on hold
In the meantime, XPV mod ordering remains on hold. We would like to reduce the lead time substantially and as mentioned earlier will make some changes to ordering to help reach this goal. We will announce when ordering reopens.

Thank you for your ongoing patience! We are chomping at the bit to get building again and will do our best to get back on schedule ASAP.

I guess this is both good AND bad news. Since my order was placed April 21st and protovapor ordered DNA30 boards early April, did they order for both backlog orders AND future orders? I sure hope so. Earlier in this thread the owner of order #481 posted that his had shipped. Another person with order #507 said that he would also post when his shipped, but he never posted. This tells me that protovapor is probably working on orders in the range of 490 to 500. That makes my order (#664) roughly 175 orders behind. Ouch! I have a long, long wait ahead oh me. I sure hope protovapor ordered a lot of DNA30 boards.

The lead time for me when I ordered changed from the 30-35 days to 40-45 days and yes end march is when I ordered.

i have order #507 still waiting on the shipped update someone else was wondering about where the orders fell timewise, i ordered march 21st according to my math it has been 41 business days i would expect my XPV to get shipped next week (around 5/21) with these Evolv delays taken into account, id also like to let everyone know if you havent gotten your order yet you can now buy replacement batteries directly from the website, Protovapor used to handle replacement batteries (with connectors) and the connectors themselves only by Paypal but i have issues with Paypal and they were nice enough to put them up on the website for direct ordering

28 business days in for me, today. (Order 605/606 made on April 8th) If there is still about 100 to go in production, and they are set back a few days on the shipment of DNA PCB's It doesn't look like mine will be shipped within the, then stated 35-40 business day lead time. I hope everything resumes quickly at Protovapor.

I am Order # 625, placed on April 12th and still nothing. Thinking about contacting them and asking for a refund with the recent news of no DNA boards shipped to them. There are so many other nice DNA-30 devices out there that there is no reason to wait for them. Not to mention the DNA 30 Hana Modz DNA 30 clones are coming soon for $80 or I could pick up a Vapor Shark for $50 less?

I'm order #546. Placed on March 28. I'm on 30 working business days and with the new delay on DNA30 boards I'm hoping mine will be shipped by the end of this month or first week of next month. I still wouldn't cancel the order because of the delay. Protovapor is being upfront with what is going on and doing their best to accommodate everyone. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
