I know it's a long wait but I got mine yesterday and I placed my order 24/3/14 and I have to tell you that even though I'm a very impatient person and have cancelled 3 pre-orders on clones, I'm glad I waited. Heck I'm even considering ordering another one! Pictures and all the raves do not do it justice. When you hold this thing in your hand and hit that button....magic happens and you will know that nothing else matters. Trust me you'll thank yourself for not canceling. And they got it to canada from Hawaii in 6 days!! These guys/girls are awesome.
Right there with you. Others should also keep in mind that not everyone is watching and posting on here so there could be more shipped.
I'll just waif until they make it available for us to put in ourselves or end up putting one of the new fatdaddyvapes spring loaded 510 connectors in if I don't like the one that is on it.
Depending on the turnaround time, I think I can live without my XPV long enough to get the upgraded connector.
I hope the upgraded connector will not be too expensive and why it is not user upgradable? I am interested in the "foot" they are adding as accessories for the XPV and wonder what the other is??
So I'm assuming I can expect the new connector for my order. I'm 715 so I wasn't expecting it to ship within the next 2 weeks. More like a month. This is good news and makes me glad to wait, because the 510 was the main point of concern for me, what with the o-ring fix and non adjustability. With the new connector this mod seems to be just about perfect. Can't wait.
I couldn't. If I only had one, I'd clamour for them to make those of us who are reasonably handy with such things a self-install kit -- the new connector already assembled into a top-plate. That way it's remove the screws and solder up a two wires. No big thing, really.
Looks like I just made the cut. I ordered on April 21st.
Can't wait! My VTR is nice but I'm tired of being limited to 15 watts.

Yep, good old reliable VTR. I won one in a contest, used it for 5 weeks and gave it to my sister. She still raves about it.
So happy about the new connector! I am REALLY REALLY curious to see what design they are changing to. I definitely asked them to give me the upgrade! I've waited a while for my XPV 30D now.... it won't kill me to wait a little extra, for a much nicer atomizer connection! 
I have been drawing/playing around with plans for a different, solid stainless steel, copper adjustable pin (or solid silver) and delrin top/connector, for about a month. I have a couple basic designs drawn up, and they are both thread-together integrated designs, similar to many typical mech mod top caps, except square, with four screw holes, obviously. It sounds like I won't even need to bother pursuing the idea any further! Sounds like Protovapor has already answered my desire for a great connection!
im going to place my order friday...im not going to wait for the new provari....im getting this xpv 30D i would sell one of my provari to have one...lol
