Yes hooking it on my pocket instead of in the pocket or the shirt pocket will be great.

I still plan to stick it safely in my pockets... only the clip will keep it upright, and keep it from falling out as easily, and also keep it from the thing I HATE most, that so many mods do: fall over in the pocket of my jeans, and constantly try and lay horizontally in the bottom. looks like I'm carrying a sausage in my pocket.... lol

LOL I know what you mean. When I take the Vamo to the Casino with me I end up just holding in my hand because just doesn't set right in any pocket.

No shipping confirmation yet, but I did just get an email from Protovapor confirming that I need my mod shipped to a different address from my billing address (the address of my workshop) ...that surely means they are about to send me a shipping confirmation really soon! (Order 605) ...SOOOOOO EXCITED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SWEET!

No shipping notice for me yet. I wouldn't be surprised if I received my notice on Monday. (Fingers Crossed!!)

I would say Monday is a good bet for yours. I just checked tracking and it looks like the notice was sent when it got to the Honolulu facility. The expected delivery is Monday. I was able to put my KFL on a Hana DNA20 clone at 20 watts in my B/M last week and hit it a few times. My Vamo setup has me at about 20 watts. The DNA was a much better vape. I'm so looking forward to the DNA30.

The complaint about the VaporShark 1200 mah battery is NULL!! Everyone is comparing different battery technologies, the VaporShark uses a 1200 mah Lithium Polymer battery while the ProtoVapor and most other DNA's use the standard 18650 Lithium Ion battery chemistry and there is a big difference in their output amps and voltage drop. The LiPo batteries used in the VaporShark are far superior to any of those crappy 18650 LiIon batteries being used by most vapors. The only thing is the LiPo batteries have to be used in a regulated device so they haven't gained in popularity like the LiIon's which everyone uses in their Mech Mods because of the safety features they have.

I can't speak for the VaporShark Li-Po, but my XPV lasts 2 days easy of moderate vaping at work and heavy vaping when im off, obviously on the weekends i can blow through a battery in a day easily but i find it very hard to believe that a Li-Po with less than half the capacity would last nearly as long, it would probably be a different story with a 2600mah Li-Po but comparing battery life of and MVP to an XPV is apples and oranges with the MVP's 100hz PWM

Yup, most likely. Yup, that's generally the opinion most folks have, once they use an Evolv board. The vape is a better quality than from the "middle of the road" performer, mass produced systems with PWM, etc (pre-hana clones, obviously, since that's basically the exact same kind of performance as a real DNA board, even though the PCB and components are laid out differently, and some components may be differing values slightly, or from different manufacturers, from those Evolv uses.) So I guess you use two 18350's in your vamo, right? (I've never used a Vamo, myself, so no experience with them, I just know some folks use stacking to get more wattage/voltage, right?

I'll expect I probably need to plug my XPV in a couple times throughout the day sometimes. The great thing though, is that I have an Xtar WP2s two channel charger/usb power bank, and if necessary, I can always charge up 4 Panasonic NCR 18650B 3400's, and stick the charger and a USB cable in my pocket....plenty of energy for a weekend away from home (camping, etc) and the WP2s also has a car charging cable. That WP2s was one of the best things I ever purchased for vaping...

I used a Evod for a long time so I was using a 650. When I got the KFL I switched to stacked 350s. So right now my setup is a 3/32 - 5/6 wrap - at 1.4 ohm +/-, with .6 kanthal ribbon and cotton. At 5.4 volts it's 20.8 watts. I like it.

Portable power pack. Cool didn't think of that. Although I shouldn't ever be far from a power source it's a good thing to remember.

I'll be experimenting with re-charging my XPV as soon as the first charge gets low, using the WP2s, and will probably talk about the results here. I think it's a great idea, since the XPV is a built-in cell design. we'll see... the only single thing I wish, was that the Evolv usb charger could handle more like 1A input. (it's 500mA input, and my WP2s charger can output a max of 2.1A) 500mA isn't bad, but it does take a bit longer to charge a cell than 1A capable input. The best charging current for a typical 18650 is about 1 amp, giving a good balance of charge speed, and maintaining good cell health. One thing I know for sure, the cell in the XPV will have great lifespan, since it's taking a charge current far below what it can effectively handle.

The Sony VTC5 in my XPV is lasting me a good full day of heavy vaping(I vape 13ml's a day)and still have a little charge left over for my first hour of vaping in the morning.
The thing I hate is the long charge it takes.Usually about three to four hours for a fully charged XPV once drained. So,if you are a heavy vaper, the XPV will do for an entire day of vaping, and then some.

Can you give me an idea of your resistances, and wattages, over the course of your typical day, that gives you an average of around full day, to a charge? I would appreciate it a lot. ...yea, again, i wish the Evolv charger output was more like a full amp. that would halve the charging time, and still keep the cell healthy.
