The Sony VTC5 in my XPV is lasting me a good full day of heavy vaping(I vape 13ml's a day)and still have a little charge left over for my first hour of vaping in the morning.
The thing I hate is the long charge it takes.Usually about three to four hours for a fully charged XPV once drained.So,if you are a heavy vaper,the XPV will do for an entire day of vaping,and then some.

Thanks that's good to know. So with a full charge I should be good for a 14/16 hour day. I use the Magneto with a dripper at night and in the morning.

Can you give me an idea of your resistances, and wattages, over the course of your typical day, that gives you an average of around full day, to a charge? I would appreciate it a lot. ...yea, again, i wish the Evolv charger output was more like a full amp. that would halve the charging time, and still keep the cell healthy.

I have my builds at .7 at 20 watts and that has got me from the time I get up roughly eight'ish in the morning until about nine'ish in the evening,with a little charge still there for the wake up vape and charge again.

I have had a couple .9 builds at 23 watts and it gave me about another 1/2 hour to hour longer on the vape time.I know just going up by .2 is not a big deal but knowing I got an extra,maybe hour from that .2 is helpful in the future builds and vape time.

Yes you will be good for that plus a few more hours.

I'll be experimenting with re-charging my XPV as soon as the first charge gets low, using the WP2s, and will probably talk about the results here. I think it's a great idea, since the XPV is a built-in cell design. we'll see... the only single thing I wish, was that the Evolv usb charger could handle more like 1A input. (it's 500mA input, and my WP2s charger can output a max of 2.1A) 500mA isn't bad, but it does take a bit longer to charge a cell than 1A capable input. The best charging current for a typical 18650 is about 1 amp, giving a good balance of charge speed, and maintaining good cell health. One thing I know for sure, the cell in the XPV will have great lifespan, since it's taking a charge current far below what it can effectively handle.

I was wondering what the usb input was just hadn't bothered to look it up. My phone charger will work perfect it's output is DC5V 600mA.

Yup, I think most MicroUSB smart phone chargers are probably ideal. They're usually somewhere in the same range (I suspect that's why Evolv went with a straight 500mA)

Sounds great! I'm really curious of higher resistances, using the higher wattages. This brings down the amperage needed from the cell, but pushes up the voltage needed. I can't wait to start playing around with higher resistance builds! should be able to make some great vapor at higher resistances...

I am not to sure about higher builds getting great vapor production but I do know,my .7 builds and lower at 20w's and up do fog up the room with just a couple hits.My RDA sucks up the juice a lot faster too.I went with a wick I stopped using,cotton,and I have to keep the coil soaked so it does not taste burnt.

I'm excited to find out what's better for me: Bigger coil to wick contact at higher voltage, lower amperage -or- smaller coil to wick contact at lower voltage, and higher amperage... I care much more about the flavor in that vapor production, than the mass of vapor itself, but a healthy sized cloud is rewarding to look at (unless it doesn't taste like anything..... which has been at times what I have come across in some of my sub ohm dripper builds on high drain mechs.) Can't wait to experiment with both sides of the equation.....

The Vamo won't fire at 1.1 and at 1.2 I can tell it's not sure. So I keep it at 1.4 or so. I'm looking forward to trying it around the .1 range. I can use 3/32 and still get it there by keeping it tight but I do want the flavor to be there also. As for the dripper. I made a dual coil from one piece of .8 ribbon with no break in it so it's basically a single wire coil. 3/32 , 4/5 wrap is .4 ohm. I think it evens the volts between the coils better. The wraps are a little rough but it was the first time I tried it. The next one will be better.

I think I will be happy for those that are getting them now and happy for myself when 793 rolls around.

I much prefer the 2900 panny battery over the sony.

Sony VTC5 in my XPV 30= 12-14hrs charge life.
Panasonic 2900 in my XPV 20= 20-24hrs charge life.

It's here and it is nice!!! And it is SN#0453. Battery has a full charge. Came with a usb cable and information on the mod and the DNA30. Already downloaded the pdf for the DNA30 to my phone till learn how to set it. Put the KFL on it from the Vamo and I have to say the vape is better. I can tell the coil is getting more power than the Vamo was putting to it. Vamo had the coil at 1.4 ohm and I was set at 5.4 volts which made it about 20.8 watts. The XPV has it at 1.3 with 5.2 volts set at 20 watts and the vape is better. My next coil I'm going to go for something closer to 1 ohm or so. Yes I'm happy.
