I think the new top spacer/clip that tyoung has looks good.
Like the looks of that top spacer to.

My battery indicator acted up on me once when I plugged in the charger. I fired it with the cable still attached and the indicator came back to life.
I love the clicky button, it comes close to a Cherry-MX Blue Mechanical Keyboard Switch.
Excellent!
I've ordered the clicky button version and love my Das Keyboard so should be good.
Hi all, I'm a newbie member, but been vaping for almost a year off and on. Been a long time reader of ECF and specifically this thread - and this is my FIRST post outside of the "newbie pen"! Got a Protovapor DNA 30 on order (order# 815, placed June 5th I think, but may be delayed, as I opted to wait for longer cases to come in).
Can anybody give an update on the last shipped/received order number? Last I saw on this thread was #666, I think.
Can't wait to get it! Currently have a DNA 30 from Buffalo Modz, very rugged & not a bad mod at all, but love the lighter weight & belt clip features that Protovapor provides. Also have a DNA 30 pipe from Freight Train on order. I bought one of FT's DNA 12 pipes when I started vaping last year, VERY nice for around the house, but like the easier portability & pre-installed batteries of smaller mods when I'm on the go.
Thanks all for the great info that you all provide!
#889, ordered 28 June. Didn't see any mention of long vs. short case, what's the story on that?
#666, ordered 21 April, arrived today. I have been building all kinds of different coils to see what works best in my RDAs.
As for tanks...my Fogger v4 works great with my standard build (dual 28ga micro coils, 2.0 OHMs each, .9 OHMs installed). Best flavor and vapor I've ever gotten out of it!
I'll give it a few days and post my opinions after I give it a thorough test.View attachment 351023
I know, it's a low res photo...I'll post a better image of it later.

Looks like the base will be a permanent mount to the bottom of the unit.
It wouldn't be at all difficult for someone skilled in 3D CAD (which I am not!) to draw up something like that and make it available for purchase from Shapeways.Wish they would just sit on the desk and you could set the XPV in it.
