Wow, totally cool that you responded! I wasnt expecting to see you here, especially in a thread that I started! Been watching your videos for awhile, I am a fan ;)

So will the P3 be the same form factor? Only one button? Common, just a hint....

Ok, first, please be a friend not a fan. Who the hell am I to have fans?

Second, I have to respect ProVape's wishes to keep everything hush hush for now. But let me say this. Without looking down at the device, I knew I was using a ProVari. ;-)

i think current provari owners will love v3, while the subohm kids and those easily impressed with 'vaping technology' will say it is outdated. It seems the core philosophy at provape is to make a mod that works and works every time, not add features those who just want a consistent and reliable vape don't want, won't use or that compromise the reliability and durability of the device...

Bingo Steve!

I wonder if the current versions will be upgradable to V3 like the rest have been to this point. But I suppose if they add fancy screen then it's a no but if they just add vw and up the amp limit maybe some can send it in for an upgrade. That's been a great thing about owning a provari.

While advancements in the technology of APVs has marched forward with many competitors, there's still much to be said about the quality and durability of Provape's products. Sure, I have a mech and a high-wattage VW device that I own and love, but I will rarely ever leave the house with them to use on a daily basis. I only entrust that responsibility to my Provari. I know it will never fail on the go, and good God can it take a beating :)

I watched the full video and enjoyed it. I like How It's Made. Actually, before that I watched Industry on Parade when I was a kid. It was was the grandaddy of this video genre.

I look forward to seeing the new P3. It will be interesting, at the least.

As an old DJ of 35 years I'll add the the SME Series II tonearm was the best ever made, no exceptions.

I think it's cool that Phil (pbusardo) dropped in.. I'm also a fan of his video's and respect his opinion highly, in fact his are the only video's my wife will watch when I'm watching them because of his professionalism. I and my 2 son's were lucky enough to meet Phil here in Texas in March at VapeBlast. Very nice guy who obviously know's his stuff. I'll have to take him out for drinks next time so I can officially call myself a friend ;) (no minow shots though)

To be clear, I'm not hating on anything... Like I said, you guys who were blown away with how the Provari is made.. did you think 2 guys were cranking these things out in a garage somewhere? Of course they've got a top notch facility and a top notch work team.... They put out a fantastic mod, it just needs real updating - not a paint job... Phil has said it himself in some of his video's, that the provari interface, menu, led display is starting to show its age. No one is talking about cloud chasing, subohm'ing, etc.... And like it or not, if your using any kind of NON-MECHANICAL MOD -- YOU ARE VAPING WITH TECHNOLOGY! Like it or not, you are.

No one can take anything away from Provape.... They earned their place. NOW KEEP IT. That's all I'm saying.

My son was watching the video with me and when he said DJs around the world will understand what I mean when I say this, I said out loud "The techniques 1200 turntable", and when Phil said it, my son looked at me and asked if I had watched this video before.... LOL.

Some interesting points of view here.

I was just thrilled to be able to give you a look inside ProVape and that most people really enjoyed it.

I think most will really like the new P3 and some of the innovations it contains. I'm happy to say that it remains in-line with the core concepts and philosophies at ProVape.

Those that require a GI2 to make clouds at 100 watts will need to continue to look elsewhere. :)

Loved the vids Phil....really opened up my eyes to what goes into producing quality products as well as the quality of the company itself and it's people...I own a 2.5 and it certainly wont be my last Provape purchase...keep up the good work. Thanks.

Ha! Nice! And then did your son say, "What's a turntable?" :)

The Techniques 1200 was a nice turntable but there were a lot of direct drive TTs out there that were just as good or better: like some of the professional model Denon TTs of the 80's.

I still have a JVC direct drive TT in use.

The SME Series II tonearm could track reliably at just over a gram and did it all with knife edge bearings and counterweights: no springs to wear out or weaken. Professionals saw the TT, tonearm and cartridge as three separate components. I have a SME II still at use at home.

He didn't say it, but I'm sure he was probably thinking it! ;) I still have crates of vinyl albums, 12" singles and singe song 45's... the original MP3 ;)

For those who have no clue what we're talking about, a 45 was a small record you bought usually for about a buck, and had the current "hit" song on side a, and most times a second song on the b side....

Oh, and Thank you Phil Busardo for the look inside provape, and taking the time for all your reviews and video's... If no one else can see it, I can.... It's a labor of love for you, and I appreciate every moment of your time and money that goes in to each one of them, the equipment you have to show us the specs, and effort you put in to it. THANK YOU SIR!

I was only surprised that they get their machined products from another source. I would think they'd have their own machine shop for their rigorous standards...

"Several have asked if the ProVari is just “assembled” in the US or “made” in the US, so to address this questions here are some details:

The ProVape-1 and ProVari are actually MADE and ASSEMBLED in the USA.

Parts - Machined right here in Monroe, WA. We use US-made stainless steel bar stock to produce the tubes, top caps, bottom caps, contact pins, etc. Everything is done on our machines locally. No outsourcing.

Bare Circuit Boards - Manufactured in Illinois. We do not purchase the circuit boards from China due to their poor quality. While the circuit boards are more expensive to produce in the USA; this is the heart of the system and it’s important to us that they are the best quality we can get. Each PCB is electronically tested before it ever sees components.

Electronic Components on Circuit Board – these are the only parts that might come from outside of the USA. Some of these parts are simply not made in the US, so we can’t get them from a US source, even though we would prefer to.

We use components from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and the USA.

Component assembly - Components are soldered onto the circuit boards at a facility outside Seattle, Washington. After getting components installed, the boards are tested several more times at our Monroe facility to ensure they are ready to ship. We test each one multiple times to give you the most reliable product you can get.

We don't cut any corners when it comes to quality control, testing, and component selection.

I haven't seen the video yet but as a Provari v2 owner I love their craftsmanship. The only thing I'd ask for would be an oled screen like on the Segelie 20w.
From the start, the Provari was designed and manufactured to be every bit as tough and durable as a mechanical mod. There's a good reason that Provape uses the current LED display - durability and resistance to liquids.

Provari's have survived falling into a swimming pool, a full day lost in a river, and an entire wash cycle in a washing machine and survived. Not to mention P.opus's water challenge - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/556304-provari-challenge-just-how-stupid-am-i.html

OLED displays are notoriously fragile and not resistant to liquid. Drop your Segelei 20W into a bowl of water and see if it still works. Drop it one story off a ledge onto concrete, or drop it while speeding on a motorcycle and see if it still works.

I really enjoyed the vid, even though it was loooooooong:p nice to see workers that enjoy their jobs and take pride in their work. Individual testing vs batch testing, a key to ensuring uniformity from unit to unit. Emphasis on safety...if you push the button, you will know its safe to vape. These things may not be important to all, but they are to me. Thanks for the video tour Phil

I'm so glad that I didn't jump on the DNA 30 train and waited patiently for ProVape...my cash is reserved and ready!

Phil, I love the DJ analogy, but I don't know jack about turntables. For me, it's the Shure SM 57 or 58...same idea, and it's so true. You could pound nails with those mics and they'd still work!

THANK YOU!!!

Outfitted with a Stanton 600E cartridge/stylus....tough combo to beat!!
Was in the "biz" for nearly 30 years....lotsa fancy stuff, but the "tried-and-true" always worked best!!:D
Back on topic....if Provari hits with a "V3".....I just may take the bait.....as owner of a Reo Grand and Mini 2.1, I have to say they're truly great.....but the Provarinati have made me turn my head more than once...NOT as a permanent convert, mind you....but top quality build (USA, thank you!!!!!!;)) and outstanding warranty/service after the sale are all BIG positives for me...
Now...back to scraping that disposable income together......!!
Happy (vaping) Trails!
