It is a beauty, isn't it ? I had a couple of genuine AW 18350s someone sent me with another device and have placed an order for a few more from an authorized AW dealer.

It really is! The pics don't do it justice. I'm drooling over the other options he has now too. I was debating on the dragon on the Provape specials pages, but I WANT this gold one instead!

so did it start off gold or ss?

There is no such thing as a Gold Dragon, so it started out as a Polished SS, then I ZenKoted it with a run of Gold I was doing, then I machined off all the gold except where the indented parts are, then did my SS finish on it. It looked really great before I took all the gold off, too... but the two-tone REALLY pops the Dragon. Looks like it belongs in a fine jewelry store. I love it! And... it's gone

Wow, you've sold 4? That's excellent news. I'm envious. Let's hope they've gone to people who will actually use them rather than stick them in a glass case on the mantelpiece . . . .

I'm sure one is in a glass case in Canada... the other three are actually in use.

The sides are now taped together, they fit the bottom perfectly, ready to be jigged up and soldered. It's going to be beautiful, I'll admire and enjoy it for a day or two, then carefully package it so my wife can wrap it up. Then off to NH it will go as a Christmas present for her friend...
