Provape1 Wont work with regular 510 attys?

I have a provape1, one of the early models.

It has always worked with 510 attys in the past but now it wont. It works with one of the 510cartos I have..but that was my last one and it died last night.

My atty works on my 5v passthrough..

Ive tried charging the battery, cleaning the contacts..etc. any idea what is going on?

What do you have the ProVari set at? If you are running the atties on 5V, most likely you need the voltage cranked up some.

I think you may need to lower the voltage, what ohm Atty are you using ???

If he is using a true 5V passthru and trying to use the atties on the ProVari at the stock 4V, he will need a voltage increase.

Also check that the spring is touching the battery on the end cap.....
You may have to pull it a tiny bit to carefully stretch it...happened to me...

I believe the OP is talking about the original Provape not the ProVari. The center post on the atty is probably pushed in a bit. Carefully insert the tip of a paper clip into the hole and gently work the center post out a bit. We're talking about a 1/16th of an inch here. It should work fine once you do this.

Ahhhh,, Pete is correct, pull out that center pin a bit on your Atty, the old center pin problem, Geez that one takes me back a bit, good call Pete
