I received my ProVape1 tuesday and let the batteries charge overnight, and this morning I found there was a whole new meaning to vaping. This thing is awsome. I started with a Riva, and then went to the Riva 1100, and had a few of the so called home made modes, but this thing puts vaping at a whole new level. I loved the Riva, and will still use it sometimes, but it's going to be hard to put my ProVape1 down. I'm new to the forun, and I now I don't now as much about vaping as most here do, but when you find something good, I feel you need to pass it on.

Opps! I guess I spoke to quick. I When I received my ProVape1 I was so happy, I thought I would tell everyone about how good this thing is. Well I should have waited at least a day before writing anything. I guess you learn as you go, but the ProVape1 is not what I first thought it would be. I have the AW 14500 750mah batteries, and the longest they will last is 3 to 4 hours. My Riva 1100 will last longer than 2 batteries in the PV1. I thought something was wrong with the PV1,( and it still might be) but David at ProVape said there's no way anything is wrong with the PV1. He said it might be the batteries, and if I will send them to him he will check them. By the time I pay shipping to send them to him, I loose money. I had some 14500 batteries from another mod I got from Madvapes, and they didn't last any longer than the batteries I received from ProVape. I bought the little mod from madVapes, and it's ok but I have read were the ProVape1 is so great, I just had to have one. When the batteries are fresh, You will not beat the production from this thing, but you better have a pocket full of batteries if your going to be gone all day. If I had known you have to change batteries every 3 or 4 hours, I would have saved that money. I could have bought alot of 1100 batteries for what I paid for this thing.

The 14500s that Madvapes sells say they are 900 MAH but, they are more like 700 MAH. That coupled with the fact that you are going straight to the atomizer rather that going through the regulation circuitry that the eGo and Rivas have means shorter life. A lot of people prefer the AW batteries but, they are a lot more expensive. You can get those at Super-T manufacturing. Personally, for the money, I just go with more batteries. Dealextreme has them for half the price of madvapes. You'll have to wait a while to get them though. Madvapes sells a very nice little plastic case that will carry two of them. Fits nicely in my pocket.

I have a Provape-1. I use the Trustfire Flames batteries in them and usually get 6-8 hours out of one. But you're right about the 14500, its a small battery and doesn't have an exceptionally long life.

If its really that disappointing to you, put it up on the classified section and trade it for a mod that uses an 18650. It will be larger; it has to be to accommodate the larger battery. You'll like that better, it will perform just like the Provape, but you should get about two days out of one of those.
