Wanted to report this as a testament to how well Provape's customer service is. Just another story among many on top notch proactive customer relations.
I ordered a black satin a bit ago with the Tenergy charger and well the other startup options as I didn't have anything to go with a mod like this. When I learned of the Pila charger, I wanted one. I didn't want to just order it by itself from someone, and figured I'd get one with one of my future orders, whoever that may have been.
When I understood that I was going to be ordering another Provari, I was hoping that they would have the Pila's in stock on the 15th. Turns out they did.
So I threw it in with my order. Not having done much research or thinking on the charger at that time, I just wanted to get my order in as fast as I could (sure some of you can relate).
Ok, so now it was ordered with one of my two orders, and I started to read the forums again. That's when I learned the Pila would require a spacer to charge the 18350s. I was like doh! Sure enough, I looked and Provape sells the spacer, but it was already to late to modify my order.
Well, what to do... a bit more reading on ECF and found that my Tenergy could charge it without issue. OK, crisis mode over. I didn't want to add one more order just to get spacers and pay shipping charges -- whether it would have been from Provape or some 3rd party supplier.
Fast forward to today. I get my shipments in. Luck would have it that I opened the Chrome first. Simple package, exactly what I ordered. Exactly as I expected. Then I got to the big box. Upon opening it I found that the Pila box inside and the mini. Upon further inspection, my batteries and extender cap was in a small bag and what was this!!!!
I could not believe it. Two spacers were included to allow the Pila to charge the 18350s.
Wow! With all the orders they had to process, a web site upgrade in progress, and the weekend fast approaching... taking care of people like meeems with ordering issues, etc... someone over there was still on top of it and recognized the blunder I had made and fixed it!
