There are threads about broken Provaris too.

https://www.google.com/#q=provari+broken

Surely you knew that Provari mods can also break, right? They aren't magical, they do fail and break.

Did you even bother reading any of those links, or did you just Google "broken provari" and post the link?

The vast majority of those links were of atty connectors which became broken off in the Provari top connector. Hardly a defect of the Provari itself. At least Provape offers removal of broken connector pin service.

A couple of others were of processor issues which required repair by Provape. The Provari was seen, repaired, and shipped out the same day.

One person tried using dirty batteries in their Provari, which the Provari refused to fire. Once the batteries were cleaned as suggested by Provape, they fired just fine in the Provari.

Try getting the manufacturer of your Chinese-made mod give you that kind of customer service.

The only story I've read of a Provari that was beyond repair was one that was run over and chewed up by a lawnmower blade.

Bad beat me to it. I started skimming through those posts - and very few of them were problems with the Provari itself. I don't think Completely Average actually read them. If anything it helped make the point that they DON'T break very often.

Yes I am very aware a ProVari can break. The difference in that breakage is lifetime vs limited warranty.

(2) ProVari
(1) REO
(1) GP Paps
(1) OliveR Dibi

NONE of my mods have a limited warranty.

Not sure that is necessary a true statement. Every post I have read regarding a REO failures, if the member could not resolve it Robert always posts his address and lets them know to send it back. I would say that Robert does a real good job of supporting his product.

Exactly~ so how is what I said not necessarily a true statement?

I heard that the Provari is helping the FDA ban e-cigs and that the Provari makes you physically sick when you use it but that it is working with the ANTZ to catch you saying something bad about e-cigs through it's recording device under the firing post. I also heard that the Provari doesn't care about vaping in public

:pop:

:)

Seriously, these threads are funny

Yeah, and what's up with that Wizard Evolved 2? I mean, that's like almost $600! I only paid $25 for my Ego C-twist!

All right, sorry for the smart-buttness.

I just replied to a clone of this thread within the last 24 hours or so. Expensive? Put it in terms of how much you spent on smokes, it's not THAT pricey. At 6.50 a pack, that's a Provari every 24 days. (Or a Wizard Evolved 2 about every 90 days, if they're in stock)

If you like the look, believe that it will work with your vaping style, and feel that it's within your budget, buy one. If not, don't.

Not sure if it's relevant, but meh.

Vamo - cost me roughly £60 (got a kit with charger, batteries, tank etc) - dead today. Fire's but can't use the little buttons, at all. Stuck on 10 watts and can't check resistance, or voltage, or access menu. Can vape, though, but it's basically begging me to put it out of it's misery.

Last month, knowing the above was inevitable, I bought a itaste SVD. The broke within a month (seriously) - can't fire as the button is knackered - bought it from fleabay (new) for £20 so no great loss there.

Considered a Provari, checked with the bank and bought a Caravela mech mod (clone, sadly, see the bank manager rather than bash me!)

If I had the money, I'd be vaping a Provari right now. As it happens, my "knock off" MOD is actually pretty awesome and I am a happy bunny. I'd still have preferred a Provari, mind, but life and finances kinda knocked that on the head.

Guess the moral of my particular experience I'm trying to get across is my cheaper APV's have let me down big style. I mean the backup device died before the device it was supposed to replace died LOL.

Could try a return on the SVD like, but been blown away with a mech that I doubt I'd ever use a APV again (unless the bank manager plays nice - ha-ha)

:D

Just my :2c: - more money, yes, but reliability is pretty much as guaranteed as you are going to get IMHO. I want one, I'd have confidence in it. I'm like that with my cars, I want reliable, I haven't got the money for expensive service packs and constant repairs, I need my stuff to work.

I should have done my homework prior to buying the Vamo and the SVD, may have put me off. I know people who have vaped on them two for months/years and no hassle, so maybe I'm just unlucky.

OP - It's $180 bucks because it works. Might not be flashy, might not be sexy, but if you want something that works, from what I can tell it's the go to device.

Let's see how quickly I can kill a mech mod. :D

If the FDA has there way in a couple of years Provape will be bankrupt.

Sacrilege! I'm ashamed that you live in the same city as myself.
