Provari 3 and Taifun GT2; not compatible?

Hello fellow Prov3 owners. Have any of you ever paired the P3 with the Taifun GT2?

Thought Id seen the combination, but anyway. This is what happens when I put the Taifun on my P3. As you can see it only screws in a turn and a half? I thought it would be a great match.

I googled a manual for your P3 and it appears you need a trim ring to suit. And your 510 adapter appear to be adjustable, so you can get some more threads in there at the expense of the adapter threading in further.

Thanks, I almost forgot I posted this. Its odd because it goes on all my other devices, which are mechs. I have a second TFGT2 and it works great on the same P3 .

Both have been authenticated as Genuine TGT2. Just odd. Ive sent emails to Smoker store.de and The Taifun FB page, no replies. I guess US customers are not important?

I wonder if this is the 510 adapter for the P3? Here is a picture of my Taifun GT2 on my P3ti and it fits flush.

and on the P3 Stealth it fits flush ...

Here is the Rose V2s on the P3ti ... does not fit flush

But the Rose V2s fits flush on the P3 stealth.

The TGT2 has an adjustable 510 connector. I had the 510 connector on the Rose v2s tightened all the way - it fit one of P3 but not the other. I believe it may be the 510 connector I have on the P3ti, I've just been too lazy to swap it out, so I use the Rose on one of my other mods.

Hi ROxy!! Yes I checked the adjustable contact, It just sort of perplexes me that both of them are TGT2, both look physically the same. Thread look alike, but one fits perfectly flush and the other wont thread on more than a couple turns.

I still have not photographed the threads with my macro to see if there is something in the threads, but again, the one that wont screw all the way, does on my other devices.
