I can't see ProVape going with the DNA30... The 7 watt minimum would be too much for their bread-n-butter target customers, as well as too much power on the upper-end. They are proud of their electronics, and will go with their own engineering and circuitry IMO. I also believe they will stay with a simple user interface with few buttons as possible, if not just stick with the single button.

Remember, the folks who would want something like that would be considered a VERY small segment of their target customers. ;) I can see a "v3" merely having a higher amp limit like the last upgrade. I also think they would not want to disappoint current owners by not offering an upgrade like they did before. :)

EDIT: Perhaps, also a newly designed screen, and flat top cap which would fit current models.

Flat meaning, it would stay at the same diameter instead of slanting in.
It would eliminate the need for a "Pro-Ring" that so many of us purchase to get a continuous diameter with a tank...
Personally, I'd like a CHOICE - it would be cool if you could swap a slat top for a straight top on one ProVari...
That, or they could make perfect rings, in ProVari colors as well as SS...

A "flat top" would look pretty much like this:

ok, I'm a little ignorant,,,,,

what the HECK is a flat top? and how does it compare to what the Provari already is????

With the RBA/RDAs growing the way it is and new vapors before they start discovering more efficient atomizers means more flavor and less mg of nicotine. The dna boards being better regulated giving the user more options and with safety. If Provape wants to stay in the main stream a DNA board is a must unless they want the provari to be a entry level device. I read somewhere that Zen and Provape where working on something be it a atomizer, a pv or distribution of the Zen line it didn't say. I would say 2014 we will see some of the biggest changes to date, I'm waiting to see if Provape will be part of it.

A higher amp limit would be nice.

I don't agree... DNA boards are ok for drippers or high ohm coils, but not that good for todays standard coils (once upon a time, lr coils such as 1-1.4 ohm) for lots of vapers (not for all, of course). Even though 7w is the lower limit, DNA boards don't do quite well stepping down the voltage, so with a fully charged battery and a say, 1 ohm coil, the lowest output would be something like 13-14 watts. That's the DNA's thumbs down and it's a biggie.

I don't see provape ever taking that chance. Also, it's really difficult to get RTAs to work well and consistently at those wattages, dare I say at higher ones, though, IMHO, that's just a problem at the moment, I believe tanks with better airflow and wicking will come soon for higher wattage vaping. Man, I always wonder how awesome would the aqua be if it only had better airflow...

Provape can do a really good work with the chip, that much we already know, so I wouldn't say DNA30 is their only chance at all.

Oh and about Zen and provape...as soon as I heard that I got really excited. I hope it's a new PV colaboration, I wonder what wouldn't they be able to do working together :)
