I can't agree with everyone that Provaris have superb construction and all that. I bought a 2.5 brand new from ProVape and the battery cap had dings on it, as well as the top, and some of the paint was smudged off. In my opinion, they're overpriced and the technology is a little outdated, especially with the one button system. I think there are way better (and much, much cheaper) options out there that will give you a better vape experience :2c:

Strange that Provape sell 'blems' that no-one can find damage on and you recieve a non-blem with extensive dings and smudged paint - very strange.

You think it's outdated because it's got a one button menu system?

My thoughts on the Provari;

It's probably the most reliable, well constructed mod on the market today. It's a fantastic device that very few regret purchasing - hence the legions of satisfied customers.

I have a P3 as well as a 2.5 and 2.5 mini. They all perform well but I now prefer the eleaf iStick and Joyetech eGrip primarily for the form factor. My P3 is relugated to home and drive time use. At work it's either the iStick or eGrip. The 2.5 Provari's now only collect dust.

With the advent of the new generation mini form factor devices I'm really getting over the huge tube mods.

I have watched the great quality of Provari in many 2013 youtube videos, but, with 20w max output and the unknown battery specs on their website for the price of $270, and with the greater advancements in other vaping products last year, I will gladly pass this product.

I'd imagine they would be the specs of the battery you're using:confused:

Built in battery? Provari's use a replaceable battery. AW-IMR's are the recommended ones. Not sure if I'm misinterpreting this post and your following one or not.

BTW I love my P3, I just can't find a good tank to use for it. Have a flash e vapor v3 on the way to try out

No way that happened, and if it did , we would be hearing how he returned it.
And this is a guy who feels that the P3 is overpriced, so no fanboy bias here.
I do, however, love my two 2.5s.
E cig forum has a lot of enthusiasts, and enthusiasts, in general, like cutting edge products, and see less value in spending more money for reliability vs spending for more performance.
Just different strokes is all.

PS
My 2 cents on the whole power issue:
Everyone I know who has bought a device that produces over 50 watts, cloned or otherwise, has had problems.
Some sooner than later, but without fail, they had problems.
Until that changes, or until I drip under 50 watts, I am not spending any more money on a regulated device.
As for the cheaper I stick type devices, I dont care what power they produce - anything with an internal battery that costs more than $15 seems a waste to me.
