I just ordered a Provari. I have an Aspire nautilus and nautilus Mini. I also have a Kanger Emow. Do I need any adapter (510 to Ego) to use with the Provari? I'm confused because I've never needed adapters with my Ego batteries, and the Provari site does not mention including an adapter when ordered with their own Nautilus bundle, for example.

Thanks ENAUD. I am sure you are correct. the EMOW has the same recessed battery terminal as my EVODs and old CE5's. I think I get it now- if the battery terminal protrudes from a flat base, then it is 510. if it is recessed inside a threaded collar then it is EGO and needs the adapter.

I guess I will pick up an adapter at a local B&M. Just to have as backup. Unless MFS puts full Nautilus tanls back on sale for $15.95, then I'll buy a couple spares :D.

I would save yourself the money on the adapter personally. The one on Provape's site is the best one I have and it isn't a good fix. You also need to worry about possible air flow issues with the adapter.

Thanks, Drummerkey. My interest in anything less than a Nautilus is just as backup. I can throw a couple of empty EVODs in my Ego case, a bottle of juice, and I have quadruple redundancy. it is a little harder and more expensive to do that with 510 type tops. I guess mainly more expensive. If I saw a good sale on Nautilus Minis I might jump on them.

Well, it came in today! (The Provari)

I am happy. I made a good decision, except ...maybe... I shoulda got a mini. And I will want a spare anyway because I like running a couple juices and I won't be as happy with my Ego bats anymore! But that will have to await a sale or some sort of enticement. I'll write a review post after I play with it a bit. I hate reviews that start with... I just took this thing out of the box 10 minutes ago and....

So I won't.

Thanks Enaud. I am especially enjoying the button. I have to press it hundreds of times a day (I guess, never counted). It should be a good button, and this one is! I also find the extended length, with the 650 battery to be more comfortable in my hand. Which I did not expect. And that is good since that battery has 2x the staying power.

I am also happy that I got to 20 posts today, which I think gives me a few more privileges here :D. And I did it without too many useless inane posts.

I like the Provari so much I fixed my problem with the Mini vs regular thing. I ordered a standard Satin Mini (blem). Another charger, for backup, 4x350 cells, Provari extension, and a Tatro ring so I can do all 3 cell sizes in it (I previously ordered 2x490 and 3x650). A Tank ring and eGo adapter. 2 more Delrin Protips (black and clear). I ordered a black delrin Protip on my first order and found it fit very snug on my Nautilus and Nautilus Mini, and without tasting like an aluminum soda can. For some reason my two Go To local vape shops don't stock cheap tips. Or do a good job with Provari's for that matter.

I also ordered a Step Desk Blox. I have cats. I'm tired of my Provari tipping over already, with or without a cat wandering by.

I'm getting 18-20 hours or so of mostly chain vaping out of my 650s. So the 100mAh/hour number I've seen thrown around is probably about right. I think that is significantly better than what I get from my eGo batteries and my one eMow 1300 mAh battery. I think I only got 6-8 hours or so out of the eMow, and 4-6 hours on the 650 mAh eGos, and maybe 6-8 from the 1000 mAh Lux eGo Ctwists. But don't quote me on those numbers, just top of the head.

I was hoping to get through the longest possible day on one 650, and I did. So I'm happy there.

The mini is superb. I figured out what to do with my pinkie. It holds up the bottom cap. Not sure which one I like better so I'm glad I got both and will use them with different juices and not be sad when I have to use an eGo battery or something similar with the 2nd tank, or swap them all day long.

If I only wanted one, for sure, I would have gone with the mini. The main advantage I see to the full size is that the elegant simplicity and engineering is preserved with only a for purpose extension cap that matches perfectly. But that alone would not be worth the cost of a 2nd. Although I have enough parts to buidl both to 650 size, I am using the mini now with a 350 and the full size with a 650. The mini has the Nautilus mini, to keep it as mini as possible.

As soon as I get the goat, I'll be applying. But I have to wait for next month's vape budget to get unlocked. One thing at a time and these two Provari's were a big hit to the budget.
