I spent 3 1/2 hours down at one of the local vape stores in the city that we just moved to. I enjoy talking to the owner as she's full of knowledge and just loves to talk anything and everything about vaping. I use an MVP2 but it's a bit flakey already at 6 weeks... It's supposed to be able to be used from a full charge at 4.2 volts all the way down to about 3.3 volts when it should have to be recharged, however when my MVP2 gets down to about 3.7 volts I know it's going to die soon and usually within an hour or so it's dead, so I told that to the owner and she said that regardless, with as much knowledge of vaping that she's seen in me she doesn't understand why I don't have a Provari yet. (well, it's mostly just the cost) but... She loaned me one for the night (yeah, she's cool like that, she just handed me one and said bring it back whenever) and...

While I really want to buy one, I still am having a tough time fully understanding why people find them so special.

Sure, I like the way it feels in my hand, especially compared to my MVP2 which now feels clumsy in my hands after vaping on the Provari for a few hours.
However, I'm not sure if it's my imagination (it probably is) but I get a sense that I'm getting more flavor out of my Nautilus tank attached to the Provari loaner than I do out of my MVP2. Now, I'm pretty logical for the most part and logic tells me that the battery / PV is not what's contributing to the flavor but the tank itself, which is why it leads me to believe that it's just my imagination running away with me when I hold a $300 provari in my hand thinking that I'm getting a cleaner, better tasting vape.

She explained that the Provari is really great about delivering consistent voltage from full charge until the battery is depleted and that if I set it to 4.2 volts then that is exactly what I'm going to get all the way through the battery.

Is it possible that my MVP2 is fluctuating the voltage when I have it set to a certain voltage and that is why I think I'm getting a more flavorful vape using the Provari instead of my MVP2 or is it purely my imagination that since I'm vaping on a $300 device my mind is searching for reasons to purchase such a handsome device?

I know that some people swear the Provari's are built like a tank but the owners son has one that he uses (0 nicotine as he's only 16) and it's all beat to hell so I'm wondering just how much it's really built like a tank when his is so beat to hell... Sure it still works even though it now looks like hell so maybe that's what people mean when they say it's built like a tank and not so much that it can take abuse and still look good.

Anyway, sure I'd like to have one as it feels good to vape on it, but I'm not convinced 100% that the vape cloud is any better nor the flavor is any better and that it's only my imagination that since I'm vaping on a $300 device the flavor must therefore be better... right!?! right!?!

Hey =)

So if you order from provape it is not 300 for a kit, even if you customize,

For me it is these things:

1) Consistent vape quality from fresh to almost dead battery (as your Vape store person said)
2) If I drop it, it does not automatically break it
3) Regulated power ensures it won't short in my hand and cause a meltdown...so it is safe without me hardly thinking about it
4) It's extremely well machined and made in the U.S.

Have you looked at getting a used one from the classys? The Provari is a power source. There are quite a few other things that factor into flavor, like the type of juice delivery system you are using, the ohm rating of the coil in that system in relation to the voltage at which you vape...etc...etc...

LOL...I see now that others have posted the same stuff. Baditude covered most of this. So, just call me "echo"!

I use the IB Tanked carto tanks and the 19mm tanks fits perfectly on top of my Provari.

I really like the way the 19MM IBTanked looks on the provari, because it is the right size on top part o provari, as opposed to the larger one that is same size as provari body.

The 19mm does look good...
