Cotton is SO last month, man. You gotta try ReadyWick.

(Actually, I'm serious. :) )

I'm so torn at this point to believe you but I'll look in the google machine or whatever the kids are calling it these days.... Hopefully Google is not over the hill- maybe I should use google and bing to be safe

He's my favorite comedian by far....

I haven't seen him do stand up but I've seen him on the motion picture thing- lol
He is hilarious! I dig the observational humor, Dennis Miller and Howie Mandel! Howie Mandel live is non-stop laughter and the man never uses a script.

Wow you were serious
Thank you I'll look into it don't have allot of ekowool left anyway. Was gonna have to get cotton and holly hunter anyway.
Lol
READYxWICK™

Yeah, that's the stuff. :) It's expensive compared to everything else, but you can re-use it over and over. (I don't like cotton - the initial taste, and when it starts to gunk up I start coughing. The cotton thing didn't last long at my house.)

I LOOVE my V2.5 satin silver red LED. Didn't go for fancy upgrades on it, but I don't regret it. I was contemplating buying a black mini with blue LED this summer, but I hear whispers here and there more and more frequently about the Provari V3 being expected this year. I'll be ordering or preordering that as soon as it's possible, guarantee it, and options will not be skimped on.

I'm expecting the same device, just upgraded. I would like to see them have the Zen Coat applied to colored editions. If your unfamiliar with what that is, look up the Zenesis ZNA mod. Pbusardo has a good video "fireside chat with Zen" where the toughness of the Zen coat is demonstrated. Safe to say that it'll likely never scratch.

I'm expecting higher performance and wattage mode. I imagine it'll have similar specs of the dna 30 chip, but you can bet your life it won't be a dna 30 chip. Likely it will be able to accomadate lower ohms as well, and maybe have an upgraded screen.

Just drooling at the possibilities.

But my Sophias and Dripper Pros, that I build at 1.2 (because yes, Virginia, you CAN use rebuildables on a Provari), give one hell of a good vaping experience, and I enjoy the consistency of the vape, the reliability of the device, and not having to worry about what I'm vaping on - just what I put on top.

Rocking my DP (on my Spotted Provi) as we type, dahlink... ;)

Haha yeah we went from blackberrys and iPhones to TVs, wrenches and toaster ovens and out of left field- football, or soccer?

Huh?
This thread is a psychiatrist's dream. Lol

And a psychotic's as well.....I mean, sorry, psychic's.

We all know that building quad head .8 ohm micro coils using virgin organically grown cotton washed in Holly Hunter's tears is the ONLY way that real men and women vape....Otherwise, you just aren't doing it right.....and you don't have 'high standards".)

It's been a fun ride. (it certainly has...)

Jess for you, pop-o

I was told that if I switched from ekowool to cotton that the house elves were going to sneak in and steal all fabric in my home that was not 100 percent pure organically grown cotton from the moons of Jupiter.

Yes. Cottone. From the moons of Jupiter. ........

Everytime I see one of these threads, I think about upgrading my V1 ProVari. But then I remember that I wouldn't use the V2 features anyways.
There's something to be said for reliable technology.
Stanley_zps41ba6dc4.jpg
I bought this off of eBay a couple of days ago. Paid pretty close to new price for it too. Why? Because it was made in America. In 2002, Stanley was purchased by PMI. They promptly shut down the factory and had all stanley products made in China. The result? It looks like the old Stanley Aladdin Thermos, but it won't keep the coffee hot all day long. Sure it still has a lifetime warranty, but I've read of people having to send in the new Stanley Thermos 3-4 times a year because the vacuum seal doesn't hold up. It doesn't have mesh pockets all over the outside like the new lunch totes have, and it doesn't have a port for earbuds. It doesn't have the latest insulating fabric technology. It just does what it does, and does it well.

The end result? No thanks. I'll buy the old used one, and know that it won't let me down. I feel the same way about my ProVari (and my Kayfun). Reliability is far more important to me than the latest bells and whistles.

They still are as far as I'm concerned. ;) I've used them every day for over 1.5 years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I would never have been able to afford a Kayfun myself, but thanks to a very kind and generous Provarinati (you know who you are, and thank you again), I was gifted a new authentic Kayfun Lite + . Nicest vape I've experienced. It's everything good that everyone says it is. Much better than the two genny-style RBA's that I have.

But I still love my cartotanks, too.

Aside from the length of time (more like 9 months for me) I'm of exactly the same opinion. I have a sofia and a KFL which are great, but i still use my carto tanks more and have just ordered a brass loki tank rather than another RBA.

With regard to the provari, it does everything i need at the moment. I havent tried sub-ohm yet as i am very happy with the vape i get from my current setups, but i do have a ba-gua 22ti, which i dont use that much at the moment, but should i go sub-ohm in the future. IO use the ba-gua a bit at home, and an MVP2 for when i'm travelling, but the other 90% of the time my provari more than meets my vaping needs.

...Careful with that new fangled DNA talk... you'll find yourself kicked off team Provari

Provape only upgrades the color schemes so you'll give them more money... the internals will never be changed....because they are perfect.

PoM, not only did you write a meaningful post, but you allowed me an opportunity to have true sense memory. I could actually SMELL that old familiar Thermos scent! Wow, that was sure nice being a pre-teen for a moment. Thank you!

Oh welp, back to being 'wiser' again. ;)

Most of the furniture in our house was purchased from thrift stores. The quality is much, much higher than what you buy now (unless you pay through the nose for it) at most major stores.

In my art studio, my drawing table, flat file, one of my taborets, my cutting table, and my drafting stool are all vintage; again, because they're built to last and I know I won't have to replace them down the line. Even some of my drawing tools are vintage (or at least older - for example Prismacolor colored pencils are now made out of a factory in Mexico and the quality has declined drastically, while the same pencils from the 80's I buy on eBay have centered leads that don't break). Come to think of it even my Panasonic electric pencil sharpener is from the 70's because it is much better quality than anything new (I did a lot of research!).

We also buy almost exclusively Snap-On tools. Our daily-use cups are Tupperware tumblers in harvest colors. Most of our cookware is enamel, not teflon-coated.

None of it has anything to do with lack of money, but value for the money we do spend. And that's one of the reasons we have 4 Provaris. :)

People are actually still bragging about their weak & outdated DNA 30s..?? *snicker*

Bro, even my 96-year-old grandmother dumped hers last year & upgraded to something with a little more power...

She's been happily vaping her Gi2 at 168 watts on a 0.18 build..

Just a half-second pull on that puppy obliterates 7 ml, easy..

Grandma is chucking clouds so huge that she's creating her own mini weather systems, complete with thunder & lightning (when the humidity & temp are just right)...

Bottom line: If Evolv doesn't come out with at least a DNA 100 in the next 6 months, they'll be withering on the vine...

Aw, that would be a sad day if I got kicked out of the Provarinati! It makes sense to me though that they will add at least some new features. I can't imagine that the V3 is simply going to be a different pattern on the body and a slightly higher amperage rating, because that's essentially what happened between V1 and V2.5. I love my Provari, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Mark my words.

I am however excited to see what they have next. I could care less if they don't even change the chip. When the V3 is released, I will buy one, regardless of the upgrades made or not made to it

OK guys. Thank you for all your input. I finally got my new Provari in a few days ago and I LOVE IT. It's perfect. Since discovering E-Cig's about a half a year ago i've sort of fallen in love with the things. But I've never stopped buying new vaporizers because I just cant stop. Well, that is until now. I usually use one vaporizer till the battery is used up and then start on the next. I have 8 now, I think. Well, I don't feel the need to buy newer ones. I feel like I finally have a vaporizer that I can stay with for a long time.
