hey guys, I've got two provari's. it seems like I'm burning cartos in my tank up left and right or so they state and getting almost no vapor from one unit. this info is without tanks and just the cartos themselves and the same voltage on both units. I'll call them by number to not confuse. #1 is just over two months old and #2 is about a month. on #1 i have to tighten the carto down tight (cant fit a filler gauge between the bottom of the carto and top of the vari) it seems and its killing the air flow and giving off very very little vapor. take that same carto and put it on #2 and there's a gap between the base of the carto and vari and has some wobble(good vapor). if i tighten it down till no wobbles (thinnest filler gauge fits in) i can get great vapor from it. now take that carto that i was getting great vapor on from #2 and put it on #1 and i get the op code and it wont fire. pull the center pin out some and i get op or e1 code from it. iv burnt up seven cartos and almost a bottle juice just doing the test with the feeler gauges to see what was diffrent between the two units with vapor included. please help as I'm just 6 days shy of 3 months analog free and I'm about to break down and buy a pack as mines unit #1 and the fiancee's is #2.

What voltage are you vaping the cartos, and what resistance are the cartos?

I've been vaping my provari at 3.7v on a 2.2 ohm Boge carto and it's been fantastic. Might be the brand of cartomizer you're using? Also, my Smok Tek dual coil cartos sit high on the attomizer connection with some wobble, but it's no big deal because it vapes fine.

If you're not using Boges on your provari, might want to give them a shot. They've been tried and true for me on the ProVari.

The top of the connector should be equal with the top of the drip well cap. I cant see that being off since its one solid piece. Like said above what carto and voltage . I vape boge LR's at 3.7-4v and Sr's between 4.6-5vish . Up to 5.3 on some juices but others will burn over 5v. If your getting the OP error means the carto is shorting. Is it possible you broke the insulator rubber around the center pin when pulling it up?
