Hi, just got a provari with the kanger pro tank 2 and some e juice from provape, it is a fantastic device, and this problem is probably due to user error, but anyhow, I have been finding pretty much since I got it, I have been needing to change coil heads at least once a day. I don't think im a super heavy vaper, ill go through about 1/3rd of a tank a day. I find as soon as I change heads, it smokes absolutely brilliantly for about half a day, then slowly starts producing less vapour and flavour, until by the end of the day it is not producing much flavour or vapour, and feels like im inhaling hot air.

I have tried the various ohm heads (1.8, 2.2 and 2.5) all with similar results. I have tested the heads and the ohmage is all correct on them. One thing I noticed is that when I press the CB function of the provari, it always displays 3.8v regardless of what I set the voltage too, however I know that the voltage is changing because I can hear it burning more at higher voltages.

Im not sure if its an issue with the provari, with the heads, the tank or with the e-juice, or if its normal. I know the kanger pro 2 is a pretty cheap tank, so if that is the problem, is it possible to buy a better quality tank with better longer lasting coil heads?

I have been cleaning all the contacts daily, as per the maintenance video. When I screw the coil in I don't over tighten it, and when I put the tank on I do it up quite tight. That's my basic procedure. And fill the tank to about 3/4 full.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

I bought those same things from provape and for me the problem was the juice. It had too much propylene glycol and not enough vegetable glycerine, causing a hot, dry and harsh vape with little to no vapor. try some other juice that have 60% or more VG and I think you will see the light. Save the provape juice for when you get into DIY and you can fix it up perfect.
online seems to be the only way to get juice that isn't PG laden. Take it easy on the provape juice until you can get good to go juice, that PG will tear up your mouth if you get vape happy.
Here is one of the places that lets you pinpoint pg/vg. 30/70vg works great, doesn't gunk up coils and is a smooth, flavorful vape.

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated. It seems to be working better now, ive got 3 coils on circulation, use them for 1-2 days at a time, then rinse them with hot water, then soak in 90% Alcohol for a few hours, rinse again, dry, and as good as new. I have reused them many times now. Waiting on some e-juice from "heathers heavenly vapes", got a few different blends, mainly 70 30's, but a couple of 60 40's too, so ill see how they go.

The provari itself is a fabulous device, loving it!
