Provari masters , How to replace the spring ?

I just bought new springs for my Minis and cant figure out how to put a new spring in the extension cap for my minis

I gently twisted off the old one and now cant figure out how to get the new one to stay in?

Grab it firmly with needlenose pliers, shove it down in and keep downward pressure while screwing it in clock wise. You'll know when it bottoms out.
The spring will probably get tweaked during install but just tweak it back.

^^ that...but I've encountered times where they are stubborn, and had to resort to working them in with a small flat blade screwdriver, like the electronics type small screwdriver.

I accidentally removed mine on the P3 I'm using (it needed replacement anyway and may be slightly different than the P2.5s but I was able to just work it in there and keep using more downward force than I expected, but it just sort of clicked into place and it was all downhill after that, but no tools needed. I could see how they might be helpful but well... In some ways using my fingers was just easier because it was like, I could feel what was going on.

I'd probably put a dab of electrical lube in there first.

Thank you all, I finally got it to screw in. I had to use some pliers and tweezers to help me get it in place. But it is performing so much better with the new spring.

I looked at the old one compared to the new and its so much longer and think thats why I was not getting as good a contact and performance.

Yup. Every P3 I have had that like "read" 2/3 or even 1/3 of my battery was fixed by a new spring. They're easier to like when you aren't replacing the batteries every ten minutes.

Except for my P3 stealth which like, I won't be selling as it is so beat up. It has that fancy end cap and reads 2/3 of my battery not quite sure what to do with that one, suggestions are welcome. I've tried cleaning the battery contact but maybe I need to attack it with something stronger than perhaps good old rubbing alcohol which I have done. IDK.

I knew you were kidding, but reading this thread just confirms what a great mod the Provari is/was. Here it is 2018 and people are still using their Provari's purchased years ago. It's a testament to the overall quality and durability of the Provari.

I'd still probably be using my own Provari's if I hadn't "moved on" from a low wattage/high ohm/MTL vaper to a mid-range wattage/sub-ohm/DTL vaper.

I'm glad I am so retro, I love my provaris and none are new. This is sort of typical for me I mean sure there is other stuff I like, but I like antiques.

I regret selling my provari I want it back!! Sold it to a friend who was trying to quit smoking. Not sure if he ever did.

I may or may not have one that looks brand new and may or may not be willing to sell it. One thing I do know is, it will cost an arm and a leg, literally, lol.

Still using my Provari V2 (2011 purchase) occasionally for nostalgia and reflection. There's not even a scratch on the SS exterior, although the reflections of the deck boards look a little like scratches on the battery cap.

Late to the game, but I always replace mine by holding it with pliers and turning it counterclockwise while pressing it downward. CCW rotation makes the spring compress a bit and it goes into the hole. Once it's in, turn it clockwise until it bottoms out.
