Today I noticed that there's an issue with the little segments in the first "digit" in the LED display on my provari mini. I took a photo that should clearly show what I'm talking about.

This is the display showing "Ao", and you can see the "broken" part of the LED in the "A". I also noticed a couple marks on the inside of the display window, you should be able to see in this picture:

I noticed this just today, and figured it might have something to do with water? I dropped the provari (from about 1.5 feet) on to wet grass yesterday, I immediately wiped it down and made sure it was dry before using it again, and of course it's been operating fine since then. I noticed the issue with the LED today, and figured that incident yesterday might have something to do with it, although I have no idea how any water would have actually gotten into the unit. I'm also not sure how the marks on the inside of the display window got there, unless moisture could have somehow gotten in the device. Like I said though, it had been dropped on to some wet grass (was rainy for a bit yesterday), but was immediately wiped down, disassembled and dried before being used again.

Is this something any of you guys have seen before, and might anyone have some ideas on how to go about getting it fixed? I sent provape an email, but with it being the weekend I figured I probably won't hear back til Monday.

Looks like some water got in there which is pretty easily considering the bottom cap has a vent hole. Looks like dry water spots on the inside and maybe some dirt. You could always fix it yourself but you may be more comfortable sending it to provape. The internals do come out pretty easy but if you are not the hands on type of person id say let provape do it.

I did consider the vent hole as well, but the battery was in when the incident occurred, so I figured taking it apart and making sure it was dry would have done the trick. I can't think of any way else water could get in, but I only see spots where it looks like there could've been moisture on or near the display (of course the one part it damages). I think I'd be comfortable taking it apart, but is there anything I could do to repair the LED? Even when the display is off I can see the blemish on the first number. I wouldn't mind taking it apart, but didn't know if getting the display replaced might be my only choice.

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it!

If a LED is burnt out then no theres no way of changing the LEDs .The LED is not burnt out from the pic though. The whole display would need to be changed which even that probably cant be done so more the entire circuit needs to be replaced . The display/button and all electronics is one piece so basically everything but the bare tube needs replacing. That Provape would of course need to do .If its just a water spot on the display you may be able to clean it yourself which is what i think it is. If there was anything burnt a whole segment would be out .Each full oval segment is a LED.Its not like a LCD where a few of the thousands of pixels can go out. If i remember correctly the display itself has a slippery finish so the dirt may wipe right off.

Bummer man, I hope ya get it all straitened out. At worst, you still have a 100% functional device just a few water spots.

Thanks a bunch man, I appreciate the help. It does in fact look like a bit of dirt on the display, so I should be able to clean it right up after disassembling it. Now to find some instructions on provari disassembly.. I'm fairly confident in my abilities, I've taken apart and repaired iphones so a provari can't be that bad right? :)

Edit: It looks fairly straight forward, I could probably just tap out the top cap and use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the display and window from there. Now to figure out how to get the top cap out without damaging it..

I was a little unclear on the warranty, as what I found on provape's site said this
"Do not remove the circuit board housing from behind the Front Cap. Doing so will void your warranty"

And this:
"This warranty does not cover the atomizer, batteries, charger, tips or any other accessories, only the device itself. The warranty does not cover improper or unreasonable use; failure to follow operating instructions; accidents, excess moisture, lightning, power surges, connections to improper voltage supply/batteries, unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition; loss of or damage to the vaporizer or its internal components. Cross threading the end caps is not covered and damage to the finish is not covered."
It seems that "damage to the vaporizer or its internal components" could possibly happen when disassembling though, and is the only thing that makes me nervous. Although I haven't seen any reports of anyone that has disassembled one breaking it, and it seems a fairly straightforward process. I'm gonna grab some canned air to see if that can't get the dirt out and then proceed from there.
