After a lot of deliberation, I ended up with the Provari mini and the sigelei Zmax3, flat top.
I prefer the Provari, as I find it a bit smoother, but the sigelei is no slouch. In fact, my partner actually prefers the Sigelei as she finds it a bit easier to use and likes the lighter weight in hand feel.
The Provari is beautifully machined as we know, but the Sigelei is quite nice for the price. Sure the threads are less smooth, but a little lube takes care of that. The screen is nice and easy to read and navigate and the shipping and customer service from Varitube was terrific.
In our house we use a combination of RBAs and Kanger ProTanks. So far so good with both devices. Also, we use the 18350 batteries in both mods for the size and form factor.
If one can afford the Provari, it is worth the money IMO. However, if not, the Sigelei is a great alternative.
