Isaac, your just used to holding round things in your hand. lmao. :) Could not help myself...All joking aside, it really makes no difference to me as far as which one feels better in the hand. They are both comfortable to hold.

If I had known of the Darwin before the ProVari I might have gotten the Darwin, however, I chose the ProVari so of course I'm biased. Its like Mercedes vs BMW; Ford vs Chevy; Rolls Royce vs Bentley; Ferrari vs Lamborghini . etc etc

PS. Who doesn't like holding round things?

Which one is available though? I could order a Provari right now, but Darwin is out of stock...

I believe the lead time on the ProVari is 2-3 weeks. (others correct me if I am wrong). On the Darwin, Drew has been getting shipments in about every week to 2 weeks. If you sign up for his newsletter, I believe you will get updates.

Yeah i just did some research and it's 2-3 weeks. I'm thinking about getting the Black Provari now. I have the extra money and time to wait for it. I just don't know, i need a Provari owner to say " buy THAT THING RIGHT NOW! " lol

Well, you have at least one post on here from someone who has both. Why don't you PM him and get a more detailed answer.

Slumdog...have you ever actually held/used one? You are giving out opinion as fact. They actually did a 'juice test' and soaked it pretty good and it passed with flying colors. I'm not sure where you're getting your info from. 2nd what Tomato said about the atty ARM.

And when its charging, it is NOT in down time, you have the option of using it as a passthrough. I have it plugged in right now and vaping happily away.

Sent from my ADR6300

and your tethered too are you not?,how far can you go to vape? 4 feet 6 feet ...a provape batt costs 10 dollars how much for Darwin batt..do you have to send it off to get it replaced..brass is almost as soft as gold.. fail if i drop my provari i lose an atty not the use of my whole pv like i said i think it is a great device..but run over it with a car and see what happens.....now try it with a provari pick it up and vape away ...like I said if your a desk jockey good choice, if your a man that actually works for a living get the stainless STEEL quality pv not an aluminum one..and i don't care about lab tests i have seen posts where people have had juice leaks... maybe not to the point of failure but as i said earlier your limited to what the Darwin wants to do,,with the provari every variable is yours to control...and yes i have used a Darwin it is cool, but don't put it in your back pocket and sit down......i know i sound like a fanboy and i hate fanboys and if you read the other parts of my post i do say it is a great device just not very well designed imho

Not realy an arm to break, but a pivoting connector made of brass. The arm is your attie and can break just as it would on any other device. Actualy less chance of snapping attie when closed than with any other pv...design +1

so you can vape with the arm down..do you always have time to close the arm right before you drop it????

I think you have some misconceptions about the Darwin. If you drop the Darwin on a hardwood floor, it will dent the floor, and not the device, trust me...I've done it and my
wife is not happy with the dent in her floor. The arm is not delicate and can handle a direct impact in a fall easily. I've sat on it numerous times and only broke a Clearomizer once, never the arm.

I went with the Black Provari. I'm very happy with this decision and I will probably buy a Darwin a couple weeks after i receive the Provari just because I love this Hobby!

Congrats man, you'll love it. Owning
both is the best answer! I don't mean to sound snobbish if it does..it's just both are better at different things. Read my blog to get an idea of how I use them.

The unit will serve you well and looks really nice in black. Will match the Darwin when you get that too. Enjoy and may the three week wait pass quickly
