2 questions:

To anyone who's actually attempted disassembling their Provari, do the 2 little screws on either side of the screen just hold the lens in place or are they attached to the board itself?

My other question is more general about cartos. I have some non-punched cartos that I use for the 3-5mL samples so I don't have to devote an entire tank to them. I'm out of empty's until I make my next order & I have one partially full, containing a juice that doesn't taste very good. If I want to re-use that carto, is there a way to get that flavor out of it, or do I just have to suck it up & finish it off?

My stealth screen has something behind it too... like a little piece of black plastic hanging inside that I can see at a certain angle.

Mine is stuck to the back of the screen. I can't tell what it is, but it's about the length of a grain of rice, but I can see all the way around it.

Thanks. So it appears those 2 little screws aren't attached to anything besides the screen. Perfect. There's something on the back of the screen in my Stealth & I'm not about it send it back too.

How odd. My full sized one has something along the bottom of the screen. I'm sure I could clean it off if I could get to it. Let me know if the screen comes out when the screws are removed.

Will do. I need to find the right screwdriver (Zoe, I have enough OJ, thank you) to not mess up the screws. I barely ever have to change settings, so it's not that big of a deal. I'll get a round tuit eventually. Right now the square tuit's are sufficient.

Edit: I have a feeling that putting the lens back in place is going to be the hard part. From the link, it looks like it'd be much easier to remove the board/top cap to deal with it.

Well, maybe you guys should call ProVape first... what if that dot is epoxy? If that screen is plastic, anything that would take off the epoxy would melt your screen... o_O. If it's epoxy on glass, it won't melt your glass, but you probably won't be able to get the epoxy off at all (I use windshield replacement type epoxy to stabilize rock slabs, and would NOT come off glass without scratching the glass, and acetone won't take it off). That actually sounds like poor workmanship if it's left over glue, and they should replace the screen free, especially for the extra price of the Stealth version.
