HR, here I thought you were a mechanical mod guy at heart ... and here you are talking about a Provari ... sacrilege ... the dark side ... OMG !!

Seriously though, you know you'll be limited to 1+ ohms minimum and 14 watts, right? Just seems like kind of a waste on a Provari to me. But hey, maybe that's just me.

I've been running a Vari @ 0.8 ohms / 3.0v (11.25 watts / 3.75 amps) for days now with no issues. The 2.0 / 2.5 is rated for 15 watts / 3.5 amps, but in many cases will exceed that since ProVape underrates their electronics.

While reviewing this table, be aware that this is the guaranteed production test limit. Because of part
variations, typical unit outputs are higher than what is displayed in this table for both models
.

At this resistance, I HAVE to jump to 15 watts on the Hana v3 DNA 30 with a fresh battery.. I prefer the 11.25 watts on the ProVari in this case. Plenty of vapor production and flavor.. :vapor:

EDIT: This is running a Taifun GT.. On a dripper at this resistance, I would prefer the Hana v3 for more power.. ;)

I hear ya, Technonut. For me 15 watts on HR's Trident is a waste of a Trident, but as I said that's just me :)

I also agree that it is enough on my Kayfun.

20140102_164107.jpg Bro the Trident sits up too high for the Provari, in fact most RDA's do. I had to sand my positive pin on the Provari to get rid of the gap. After I did that, the Cyclone AFC is a match from Heaven :)

With the introduction of the new Chinese SX-200 chip, things may be changing though.. Sigelei has a mod out using it now, but I don't like the tilting required to change settings..

It's also a new chip... I'm waiting on the sidelines until long-term reliability can be proven, and "non-tilt" mods are available.
