I would just contact them and ask. Their website doesnt exactly say, but I dont believe it would be as the finish doesnt affect the device. That would be like scratching your new car. Definitely not covered under warranty.

From the website
The ProVari's electronics are covered by our 1-Year warranty from the date of purchase by the original end-use purchaser. ProVape warrants that this product, when delivered to you in new condition in the original packaging and used under normal conditions is free from any defects in manufacturing, material and workmanship.

What is not covered:

This warranty does not cover the atomizer, batteries, charger, tips or any other accessories, only the device itself..

The warranty does not cover improper or unreasonable use; failure to follow operating instructions; accidents, excess moisture, lightning, power surges, connections to improper voltage supply/batteries, unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition; loss of or damage to the vaporizer or its internal components. Cross threading the end caps is not covered. Dropping the device and causing internal damage is not covered. Using improper batteries or magnets on your batteries will void the warranty. Taking the device apart and removing the circuit board can cause damage to the internal components which will void the warranty.

What we will do:

During the warranty period, we will repair or replace free of charge, any defective parts within a reasonable period of time.

What you must do to obtain Warranty Service:

1. Contact ProVape via e-mail for specific return and shipping instructions.

2. Label and ship the product, freight prepaid, to the address posted on our website. Include a copy of your original order and explanation of the problem or reason for return with the return. Packages not bearing a return authorization number, where required, will be refused.

Other conditions:
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PROVAPE, INC’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL PROVAPE BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, WITH YOUR PROVAPE PRODUCT.

Is the finish covered under warranty? I have had my mini less than a month, it is a Satin Black mini with blue l.e.d. and I purchased the extended warranty.

So whats wrong with your finish? If its coming off I think Provape might help you out? All my Provaris are the Black satin...
The fiinish is super durable... My full size has been my daily carry for 6 months now, its still as perfect as the day I got it...
I will tell your if you drop it, it can chip.. It will not scratch with normal usage... When I leave the house I put my Provari in a felt bag, the ones SuperT sells fit it perfect, and only cost $1.79.....
