I don't have a pic or know where any of my 510-ego connectors are but it looks like a provari with an ego connector coming out of the top. Obviously, if you use a device that requires it, the connector is hidden.
Here's my mini with a 510-ego adaptor on it, and one with an EVOD attached to that connector.
It works well, but there is a significant gap from the evod to the provari well and some of the ego threads are not hidden.
This is using the adaptor that Provape sells on their website. I'm going to look for a shorter adaptor.

It could be the adaptor. I'm using the one that provape sells. It's making good connection so I don't want to force it and screw it tighter. Another brand of adaptor may sit lower.
Just saying thanks to all above....I just got my Provari today and, using the adapter and an iClear clearo, I have a slight gap, too. Doesn't seem to affect the use but I'm aesthetically disturbed.
