How dare you get on topic!Just a quick PSA for my Radii.. Still fantastic battery management going on with these things. I’ve been using them sparingly with a Kabuki, without charging them up for over a Month. One has lost maybe 20% while in light use. The other has kept a full charge just sitting there. I can’t remember the last time I charged them. Pretty remarkable. Hence the post. Carry on.
Good grief!Monday I finally finished getting all the various things fixed on my Chevy HHR, and tonight I got rear ended which pushed me into the car in front of me, damaged front and rear bumper. Then it took me 3 hours to get logged in and submitted my claim, what a PIA!

Sorry that happened but glad you're OK. Years ago my car was totaled the day after I put new tires on. I'm always on guard for a while after I get new tires or a major repair.Monday I finally finished getting all the various things fixed on my Chevy HHR, and tonight I got rear ended which pushed me into the car in front of me, damaged front and rear bumper. That’s probably why you got in a wreck. Better just to drive blind and dumb like everyone else. You blend in with traffic better.I'm always on guard for a while after I get new tires or a major repair.
I was actually stopped at a stop light, the person in front of me stopped rather quickly, I just heard skidding tires and Wham. When I am moving I always have my guard up, people here think they are in the Indy 500, me I just try to staySorry that happened but glad you're OK. Similar story. I had just put 4 new Michelin's on my car and a month later it was totaled in a crash. My wife's car used the same size tire. So I checked with the insurance company if I could swap tires from the wreck to the wife's car. They said as long as the wreck had 4 tires they didn't care. For a fee I had he shop where the wreck was towed swap the tires. Her tires had about 4 years on 'em, so it turned out I didn't waste money on the new Michelin's.Sorry that happened but glad you're OK. Years ago my car was totaled the day after I put new tires on. The insurance company totaled my 1993 pickup truck back in 2002. I'm still driving it. Looks and runs as good as it ever has. No one would ever know it was in an accident. What kind of karma is this??
I drive this old Audi A4 (15 yrs old) wagon. It had those Takata airbags which were recalled because they blew up in your face and took your nose off, or worse.
I waited for like 3 years for replacement airbags, because Takata went under.
So, finally, they got the replacements in. I happily went to the dealer, had them replaced, left the dealer, 10 minutes later was STOPPED at a rotary waiting for the car in it to pass through.
And wham got hit in the rear end. Insurance company said that due to the age of the car they considered it totally. Paid me what they thought was the market value, which was reasonable. I took the $$ and had the rear end fixed. Why not, given I really like this car.
It's a Toyota RAV4 but I don't know if that matters when one tempts fate that way.what kind of car? That will make a difference in your karma
