Checking in. Sonic notified us that Classy lost power at 11:?? last night.

I lost power after finishing dinner cleanup yesterday. Can't remember my password to ECF so I can't get online with my new phone.

Early to bed last night means a Very early wake up. At least it recharged my brain cells and I'm now hooked up with my iPhone's hotspot and my iPad.

Just gotta keep them charged somehow.

Some shingles are on my lawn. I have a feeling they belong to us. We will find out when things die down here and it is light out.

Wind is still giving us some pretty good gusts! At least now there are some lulls instead of being a sustained wind. Hopefully they die down enough for the power company crews can get out and start restoring elect.

Worked with a guy who was talking to his son on the phone during a rare snow storm here. His son never drove in snow before. His advice: "Stay away from anything that can make a decision". I find that advice applies to more than just snow storms.

Same guy talking to the same son who let his hair grow too long: "You trying to be your own girlfriend?"

If you have anymore from that guy, post 'em. He is the sole of wit, he is brief and deadly accurate.

I tried forgetting this guy. Never met anyone so brilliant yet so stupid. He could devise some of the most brainy scientific experiments you ever witnessed but fail at pouring himself a bowl of cereal for breakfast in the morning. I often wondered how his wife could live with him. His kids are just like him too. One day I hop in my truck to go home. I notice the radio is wigged out. Finally figured it out. My antenna was missing. Turns out his other son locked himself out of his car. He was parked next to me and unscrewed my antenna and bent it up so he could put it thru his window to unlock his car. To most people this would be a callous (if not criminal) act. But with these people it wasn't. To them, it was simply a solution to a problem with no harm intended.
