You have no idea how hard it is to find cowboy boots, that I like, in my size!! These are a 5 1/2 but fit excellent. I think a 5 would have been tight. And the have a long shaft (don't even go there gnees!!) so they stop just below my knee. [emoji7][emoji7]

Nice. Didn't know that was called the shaft. You learn something new every day!

I tried on almost every damned pair of boots in Nashville at some huge Boot Barn store and after a couple hours I left almost $500 poorer. NEVER buy boots after an afternoon of Buds and Jack/Cokes.
They might be the coolest footwear I have ever owned though. My Red Wings and Blundstones might be a tiny bit more comfortable and better in snow, but a good pair of cowboy boots should last a lifetime. :thumb:

For warranty repair, contact Bill at provarirepair@gmail.com. Time and parts may be running out, but if you contact Bill and let him know what you need, he will let you know if he can help.

It's all good. I got my side table full of Radii, watching the snews, playing on the kindle, and wondering when the lazy-good-fer-nothing bum cats are going to fix my dinner.

9/11 ... Never forget

14264015_299436360412290_9152545325619634721_n.jpg

USS John F Kennedy CV-67. Ship I retired from in 2006. Last deployment ... Air support of Marine campaign Fallujah 2004. Met the Marines back stateside during fleet week New York 2005. Have a NYPD patch and NYFD patch I swapped a couple of Chief's mess challenge coins with the officers and firemen for while in the city. I LOVE NY. Never forget.
Nice pic, and nice warm post. It's my home town, though I really haven't lived there full time in years. Interesting to me is that, partly due to 9/11 and partly due to the change in the generations of folks and their cultures, it's become a far nicer place to live versus when I left it as a kid many years ago.

I just don't get cowboy boots, other than the appearance. Years ago, when I was in the business world in CA, I had customers who I took to Phoenix for factory visits etc. They all showed up in boots and I was in my loafers or whatever. They never stopped making fun of me and finally dragged me into a boot shop in Phoenix to make me buy a pair. I did and it pleased them no end. Though not as much as the strip joints they made me take them to. LOL.
But, I never ever found them comfortable. The boots, I mean.

I am a bit surprised that the Provape link, was not maintained until one year has passed, so that anyone that needed it, could find it easily. Until now I had not saved the info and links. :?:
