Soooo...is it fantastic and perfect ????
I'm really enjoying it, the flavor is great , the draw is perfect and it looks exceptional on my stealth!! I love being able to top fill it. I am hoping Steam Tuners comes out with a clear view tank for it!

Seriously...if you have some input of things you would like to see - get in there :)

As soon as I figured out how to do it, I put mine back to the way it used to be. It is the same for the most part, on the main forum page my background is gray, but when I open a thread like this one, the background is a ugly off white color, rather than gray. The font is different, but I actually like it better than the old fount. My :2c:

Note: I did mention this in that notification thread. I am not sure I like the new rating system or not.

Does the vape is as smooth and quiet like the K5?

Do let us know how you like it Doggystyle, Mr. H. I adore that silly little tank, with all its flaws (one, to be specific).
Best $10 tank I've ever purchased. Love the simplicity of the SXK Doggystyle, and so easy to build on. With the simplicity, the caveat is that it is strictly pretty much one dimensional. The user has to learn what the tank likes rather than using the tank to accommodate varying personal preferences to a large degree. If you like MTL, a cig like experience, need something simple to learn to build on, something simple and easy to change quickly between flavors in one tank, all of the above and also like to have a bunch of tanks with different flavors at once without a huge investment in equipment, this might be a good tank for you.

It was hard to remove the bottom from the tank. If you can't do that, that's a show stopper. A standard vape wrench is too large to get around the bottom and is of no help. I removed the airflow control ring and inserted a small flat tip screwdriver into the air inlet and used that as leverage to remove the bottom from the tank. Much in the same manner as removing the bottom of a Kabuki tank using the provided allen wrench inserted into the air inlet for leverage.

The tank is bottom fill only and will likely require a special removal method each time. The bottom screws into the tank "glass". The PC "glass" is actually threaded. It may easily become cross-threaded when attaching the bottom to the glass to reassemble. The method I use to help avoid that is to gently apply a tiny little bit of downward pressure as I rotate the bottom against the glass and turn in a counterclockwise direction. Once I feel the bottom "drop into the threads" ... then I turn the bottom clockwise to attach it to the glass.

I use Cotton Bacon v2 wicking. It must be a snug fit into the coil. The issue I ran into with that was that in order to install ample cotton into the coil, the remaining cotton was of too great a volume for an ideal fit into the dome of the chimney when putting the tank together. So ... I saturated the wick and fit it into the juice wells. THEN, I used precision Coil Master scissors (love those scissors for wicking) to trim and sculpt the cotton in order to reduce the volume of cotton and make it a more appropriate mass for installation of the deck up into the chimney dome. Looked like this when I was done ...

Coil. I had intended to use 29ga Kanthal 7 wrap 1.7-1.8ohm, but NOoooo. The landing on the deck for the coil retention screws is not recessed. Thus ... with no stability or limitation a recess would provide, small diameter wire such as 29ga and above will turn and twist as the coil retention screws are tightened. This could easily destroy the coil or severely compromise coil build integrity ... a couple of times. Not saying it can't be done, but best left to experienced and patient coil builders. What this deck wants is thicker gauge wire. I used 24ga Kanthal on 3mm, 7.5 wraps and ended up with .64-.65ohms. A single coil, sub-ohm MTL. After playing around with a wide range of wattage, the current sweet spot for me on this ProVari Radius is 13.2W. Perhaps this stock photo of the SXK Doggystyle, better shows the flat coil retention screw landings on the deck as well as illustrate the simplicity of this tank ...

Conclusion: This is the best $10 tank I've ever purchased (I bought two), but it took me a day to find out what the tank wanted in order to be efficient and problem free. When the Doggies are happy ... I'm happy :)

See, this is why of all buttons, we need a "Oh BUMMER!" button. JS.

Congrats on the newest of the KF family tanks. Sounds like it's going to be a win, fer shore.

Clear view tank? Isn't yours a clear view tank? <a tad konfused>

Monty Hall dead at age 96, RIP, seems like more and more iconic figures are going by the wayside...

And again, my "oh Bummer!" button would be helpful right about now. I don't think the Informative carrot or the heart Love or even the thumbs up Like would fit.

Great review, Mr. Hobbs. I will agree with you that for the price, this is a no-brainer and a show stopper for the M2L lovers in the crowd. I found the build to be simplistic, and used my usual 28g. I wicked with rayon so I eliminated some of the issues of fat cotton.

I love the non-glass glass. Unbreakable, and not a cracker (so far). However, with all the up sides to the Doglet, the bottom air flow ring had to go immediately. It's useless and a lesson in frustration. The base of the tank is difficult (ha ha, as in nearly impossible) to remove. That was my one failing with this adorable little tank. I have taken to using my gripper stuff (plate separators, shelf liner, whatever it's called) as par for the arf course. It's not an easy on/off.

Once off tho, it's a breeze to fill. I've had little problem reassembling the base onto the tank. Occasionally, I'll need the gripper for that part as well.

(By the way, your method of not cross-threading the base is precisely the same for the 'Buki, as taught by Master Zen.)

The only other issue I've noticed with mine is that the chimney seems to loosen by base removal and reinstallation. I have no idea why, but I do know that it annoys me greatly that I can swivel my drip tip and the entire chimney is moving around like a ballet dancer on Xanax.

Your konklusion is mine as well. Two ARFS up for the Dogger. A ten spot well spent. :thumb:

Thanks for chiming in Kat !!! :)
I only got the base off. Couldn't get the rest of the dang thing apart ... not without some effort anyway and so didn't try. It's not a show stopper. Maybe it will loosen up with use. Dunno. If it doesn't, that's cool.

AND YES ... need a frowny bummer thingie !!! ... shoot

Hobbz, mine is almost due for a bit of a cleaning (and to tighten the ever loosening chimney). I'll let you know if I can manage to take it completely apart. :)
